A wonderful guest house to stay. Good location, amazing views, clean, comfortable bedding, private parking space, super friendly owner and staff always ready to help. Highly recommend the guesthouse!

Wonderful base for a few days exploring the Cape Peninsula. So delightful to see the adorable African Penguins from our room and to get to go down early to see them at Boulder’s Beach before the crowds. 🐧 Room was so lovely and had everything we needed - highly recommend!

The room itself is nice, but not fancy. The view, however, is spectacular and overlooks the golf course on one side, and a view of False Bay on the other. Right up from Penguin Beach, and about a mile from the main drag with all of the shops.

Great welcome from John and many thanks to Heather for allowing us to check in a little early. Amazing views and the apartment was so well appointed and super clean. Great location for Boulders beach too. Our stay was just too short and we hope we come back soon!

A beautiful room with an amazing view.

A very nice room adjacent to the beach. Great views and hosts Heather and John are lovely and are happy to offer information about the local areas.

We stayed in the cottage which has full kitchen, two bedrooms and an outdoor bar area with view. We absolutely loved everything about the location and walked every morning and afternoon to see the penguins and explore many great beaches along the boardwalk. There is parking provided, which was great. Boulders beach is at the bottom of the street. Penguins were visible along the free boardwalk and we visited windmill beach and waters edge beach all within walking distance. Owners were welcoming and provided easy instructions to access the cottage and we enjoyed amazing sunsets as well. Beds were comfortable, full kitchen had all you needed for self-prepared meals and there is a small pool on-site too. Perfect stay in Simons Town for families. We will be back!

Our stay at Penguin Guest House was exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to see the penguins, and the beach was visible right from our window. The highlight of our stay was waking up to the sunrise on the balcony. Highly recommend this place.

The room was clean, neat and well maintained. The view of false bay and the boulders area is fantastic. The apartment has a kitchen area, has a braai on the patio. We would have loved to stay longer. Super place and will for sure stay there again in the future.

Hübsches Ansehen in Simons Town

Schönes und sehr gut organisiertes Gasthaus in Simons Town in unmittelbarer Nähe der Pinguine. Alles ist sehr gut organisiert. Frühstück gibt es 5min zu Fuss im Boulders Hotels falls man nicht selber kochen will.

Great for penguins

Beautiful room in a convenient location for the penguins and close to restaurants, shops etc. stocked with everything you need and a nice balcony. Bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Would definitely recommend.

ひとり旅で宿泊。とてもきれいで、すてきな部屋でした。マウンテンビューに泊まりましたが、バルコニーから海が見え、朝日も見れたので満足です。ボウルダーズビーチがすごく近いのもうれしかったです。また、喜望峰への観光に行く際も、Shepherdさんを紹介して頂き、本当に楽しく過ごせました。全てにおいて、感謝しております。またいつかぜひ泊まりたいです。ありがとうございました。

I recently stayed at Penguins View Guesthouse and couldn't have been more pleased. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking—perfect for morning coffee or a sunset wind-down. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge. One of the best parts? It's just a short walk to the famous penguin beach! Waking up and strolling over to watch the penguins in their natural habitat was a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone visiting the area!

The perfect guesthouse with a view to die for

Penguins View Guesthouse is one of the best places we have stayed at on our road trip around SA. The views, the comfort, the amenities and so on were just 1st class. The Guesthouse provided such comfortable towels, beach towels, tons of pillows and wonderful bedlinen. The kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything. The pool and bar area were so clean and fun too. Heather the owner gave us little tips on where to swim etc and this was invaluable. We just loved it all.

Great location!! Just off a golf course and a 5 minute walk from Boulders Beach. Super cute rooms with comfortable beds and lots of amenities. Heather is so responsive and went above and beyond to meet our needs. If you go to Simon Town, this is a beautiful place to stay. Make sure you get Shepard as your driver if you need one. He was amazing!!!!

Very nice property in a beautiful location. Well kept with all the amenities you would expect and more. The couple that runs the property are extremely friendly and helpful, providing various updates and tips throughout my stay. The location itself was fantastic, with an amazing view of boulders beach. The unit is well equipped for loadshedding. The property is secure and the area never made me feel unsafe. Thank you so much!
