"The property is new and modern and a lovely place to stay long or short term. It is worth noting that there is only street parking or paid undercover parking around the corner. There is construction on the building next door and if your room faces the street it can be quite noisy all hours of the night. "The Taj hotel Cape Town is an excellent hotel. The staff are very friendly and obliging.the hotel is very clean. Breakfast is excellent with a very wide choice One very minor point.During the check in process please give out the wireless password and don't keep people waiting unnecessarily. "Conveniently located by shops and restaurants/ bars on Long Street, this hotel is clean and really nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious, the beds super comfy, the bathrooms modern, and the rooms nice and quiet. What really stood out was how thoughtful and helpful the staff were — especially at the front desk. I've stayed here a couple of times now and can't wait to come back next year."

"Clean and spacious room, with a full kitchen (although I didn't use). A complimentary bottle of wine upon checking in, as well as 2 bottles of water daily are provided, which is a very nice gesture. One drawback: the wall outlets are generally not suitable for most international travelers, but it should be easy to borrow an adapter from the front desk. Breakfast is decent, and the Chinese/Japanese restaurant at the hotel is pretty good. Other than that, one needs to go a bit farther distance...

"I could not comment about the room of the hostel itself much, as I was lucky enough to have an upgrade to the apartment nearby, which was superb with large bed, big kitchen and roof top swimming pool. Very friendly hostel reception staff. Luggage storage was available before check in. Amazing breakfast in Side Bar of the hostel."
