Modern, Spacious, Pet-Friendly Cape Mackie!

  • This modern, two-story condo on historic Lafayette Street is the home-away-from-home you seek! Our newly remodeled property boasts an open layout, tons of natural light, quartz counters, stainless appliances, hardwood and tile floors, 2.5 bathrooms, a walk-in master closet, 3 Smart TVs and Wi-Fi. The outdoor space features 1st and 2nd floor decks overlooking a secluded, grassy backyard, a gas grill and huge dining table for 8! There are two parking spaces. A garage offers plenty of storage space and increased security for your bicycles and other personal belongings. We are conveniently located one block from a multi-million-dollar park (and dog park), 5 blocks from the Washington Mall, 4 blocks from the supermarket and .6 miles from the beach, straight down Madison (with a beach box at Queen St. from Memorial Day to Labor Day to store beach gear). Our proximity to the Physick’s Estate and Southern Mansion put you front and center during Cape May’s magical celebrations of Halloween and Christmas! If your goal is family fun and bonding, with the option for everyone to have their space come the end of the day, this quiet, welcoming condo will have you returning time and again.

    Currently, we only offer rental periods of seven or fewer nights (depending on the season). There is a 7-night minimum during peak seasons and there is a per-dog pet fee.

    We look forward to our home being part of the joy you experience and one of the places where you and your loved ones create memories while visiting this favorite seaside resort!

Enjoyed our three night stay here. The location is excellent and is within walking distance of beach, nature trail and grocery store. The place was clean, comfortable and well supplied. Overall, we had a great experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here! The house was incredibly clean - honestly the cleanest and best kept Vrbo I have stayed at. The house was very pet friendly and location was fantastic for proximity to shops and other activities.

The location was fantastic for families with kids. It’s only about a block to walk to the park/playground, there’s a nature trail about a block away, and the library is only a 5 minute walk. 10 minute walk to Washington Square. The house was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed for the week. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Beautiful condo! Great location. Property was very clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of pillows and blankets for comfort. Loved that the owners thought of our little furry friends with food and water dishes for the pups. We really appreciated how everything was outlined for both check-in and check-out which made it very easy. Owner was very quick to answer any questions we had. We look forward to staying at this property again in the future!

A beautiful home in a fantastic location! We stayed for a few nights and absolutely loved this property. It’s a beautiful, clean, modern and comfy home with parking. Located next to a really nice park and just a short walk into town to all the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here!

This property is as advertised and one of the nicest vacation rentals I have stayed at. The description is accurate, photos are true and the hosts have thought of everything little thing you might need when away from home. This Cape May rental even offers sheets & towels (you will be expected to launder and replace), but you can still provide your own (as we did). The house is located very close to the downtown and almost everything is walkable (even the beach). If your dog travels with, there is a dog park and plenty of sidewalks to walk on. Don’t plan on them joining you on the nature trail, dogs are not allowed (one thing I didn’t realize). This is definitely a great place to stay and we will be back someday.

Very walkable location and a well organized and maintained home. It was a great escape for us with our little one during the long cold winter in early 2026. The need to bring our own linens was a bit of a hassle but we made due. Would have also been nice to know that there would be no soap or shampoo in advance.

Melt To Your Cares Away

Cape Mackie is seriously my favorite place to stay. Everything is perfect. It is wonderfully decorated, amazingly clean, has the comforts of home and more. This was my second stay and I can’t say enough about how much I love it!
