"Awesome place with great views. Cottage is set up for anyone who may have forgot anything. Well stocked and very clean. We had a great time touring the area and visiting local attractions. Definitely recommend it and will keep it in our list for a return trip down the road. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here. We spent a lot of time on the deck looking at the beautiful water view. Very comfortable furniture outside and inside. Tons of space for everyone to spread out if needed, well-stocked kitchen, great coffee maker. Terrific place to use as a base for exploring Cape Breton. Bonus - Jo, the property manager was terrific! "The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck."

"A group of eight guys headed to Cape Breton for 4 nights and five days at Baddeck and luckily picked the best possible place to stay that we could. The course is right next to Bell Bay Golf Club which was convenient for us as we played three rounds there, one at Cape breton Highlands (1 hr away) and one round at the Lakes at Ben Oein (1 hr away). "Imagine waking up to a beautiful sunrise over a flowing river bend and seeing eagles flying, deer crossing , and beaver swimming and you have it all to yourself. That's singing bowl yurt. A once in a lifetime unique experience. So glad we went!"

"We stayed for the long weekend with our adult children and their spouse (6 of us). Fisherman's Cottage was perfect for us. There was lots of room for everyone, and what a view!! The kitchen was well equipped and let us prepare a celebration meal. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub. What a treat!! We would visit again."

"This was the perfect stay for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The dining room was perfect for eating together, or board games. With the patio entrance at the end of the table it offered a refreshing breeze and a beautiful view. The owner was wonderful at offering suggestions of things to do, and local events happening in the area. "This was a great place to reset your self from the hectic life we tend to live. Sitting by the fire place, seeing the stars, hearing the oceans gentle breathe what more could you ask for? I guess maybe a hot tub. wifi, a full kitchen and maybe a nice comfy bed yes those are all included as well. We were able to explore the area and was shocked that nobody else seem to even know this place existed. We walked a good three hours on the beach without seeing another soul. "Two sets of family stayed at this property and it was more than enough room. The house was very clean and tidy and a comfortable space. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials and all bathrooms had plenty of soap, paper towel and toilet paper. The host was super friendly and helpful. They were very quick to respond to inquiries and helpful recommendations. Overall, the property met our needs and we really enjoyed our stay. Over"

"Well equipped trailer with a beautiful view. We did on the whole enjoy staying at the property. It is quite a remote property which was a little nerve wracking at first as our signal was limited but the setting is worth it. Only about 20 mins to St Peters. Our main feedback was just around the compost toilet, whilst eco efficient, it does have a smell and this smell progressively got worse with more use. We did flag this with the owner who was quick to respond and suggested using the fan. We...
