The Space:
This newly built home sits in a great spot in Cape Charles only a short walk from the Eastern Shore Custom Carts where golf carts are rented. This home has an open concept main floor with a first floor bedroom and bathroom. The second floor has a Queen bedroom, kids bedroom has 3 twin beds and a trundle bed, There is also a pullout couch in the main upstairs area that is connected to the second floor full bath.

Wide open fenced in backyard which is great for the kids to run around and knock off some energy. Come stay in this lovely home and enjoy our small town.

Guest Access:
We offer convenient door codes for self-check-in. Chesapeake Properties by Portoro uses convenient keyless entry for self check-in, details provided 2 weeks (or less) prior to arrival by email and text message.

• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

- Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age.
- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Chesapeake Properties by Portoro directly.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: In the State of Virginia and in Northampton County, all hotel and vacation rental hosts are required to collect hotel tax. We collect these taxes within the booking transaction.
- Some homes offer pools/hot tubs, or access to communal pools. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk.
- This is a No Pets property. A daily rate fee of $150.00 will apply for violations and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.
- This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.
- For the safety of guests and the home, there are noise monitoring devices. These devices only measure the decibel level and do NOT record any audio.

Interaction with Guests:
Our goal is that your vacation exceed your expectations. Chesapeake Properties by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.

Beautiful home with potential

Gorgeous new build however there are some electrical issues so lights would randomly get bright then dim. Wish master had 2 night stands and a king instead of queen. Check-in was a bit uncomfortable as it was never initially stated only street parking. We were informed to get keys at an office which is immediately next door. However we didn’t receive keys we got a packet with that was in an accessible drop box that had the address and door code listed on the outside of the envelope which didn’t make me feel the safest given I had ten infants with us. WiFi also went in and out and you couldn’t even watch Netflix. However we spent most of the time at the beach which was amazing!

Nice House

Over all it was nice. Didn't like being Woking up at 5am by barking dogs nextdoor. Bed were comfy. Wish there was a TV in at least the main bedroom. Upstairs queen has no nightstand to put anything. Had to put my glasses and cup on the floor. Property management was very friendly and was available when needed. House was clean and had everything you would need. Sits right in the middle of town. Overall it was a nice stay.

Fantastic and Beautiful

This property was just the right fit for us. Loved that the master bedroom was on the ground floor. This made it easy for us Seniors that way we didn’t have steps to worry about. The top floor was fantastic for the kids and adults. Love the large dinning area for the whole family to eat and enjoy ones company.

The extremely large dining table was really nice. We were all able to eat and play in the same place. There was not quite enough living room furniture for as many people could sleep in the home. It would have been nice if the tv swiveled, then we could have sat at the dining table. The bed in the master bedroom needs to be secured somehow. Maybe rubber coasters or something, it had a tendency to move when you went to sit on the bed.
