"This property is unbelievable for it's location, charm, comfort, and owner. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is, hands down, the best one I have stayed at. With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. The owner has amazing communication and provided an exemplary and low-stress experience. "

"OMG this home was such a stunner! We arrived after dark because of the ferry ride, but when we arrived, the house had subdued lighting, relaxing music and some essential oils going. We both walked in and said "Wow, Oh my god"! And it was still dark, so we couldn't see the view, but we could hear it. "New place and immaculately clean. Beautiful view right in a cliff overlooking the ocean below. Bryan was Very helpful with directions and checking in, as well as some suggestions. I highly recommend. "

"Lovely view from our cabin on the lake. A short drive to Yarmouth and Cap Forchu. Missed having a hot plate to cook on rather than a bbq, but would not deter us from coming again."

"Property is a welcomed getaway with plenty of privacy. Cottage was immaculate and amenities were plentiful. Host provided access to kayak and dingy along with board games and outdoor propane fire pit. We will definitely return."

"We were so happy at the camper, it had every convenience and was well stocked. It was a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day (in the recliner chairs (inside and outside) or the hot tub!). The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, and very central to all the activities we took part in. The hosts were extremely nice and responsive to questions, and we would love to come back. Thank you so much."

"This was our second year to stay here, great location, love the restaurant, the market everything we needed was so handy plus the beach is worth the trip . Enjoyed our stay so much again we’re hoping to book for next year again . House is great has everything you would need . "

"Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival, the owner/host went out of his way to accommodate us and we were treated very kindly throughout the entire stay.
