"The view from the tiny houses around the lake is absolutely spectacular. The accommodations were true to their listing, cozy but well equipped. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. It was easy to get back and forth to the park but without a crowd. "

"This property was great for a larger group, as the living room and kitchen is large enough for everyone to hang out comfortably. The greenhouse is cute, and the river access is peaceful. Only downfall was the proximity to anything to do. If you simply need a place to sleep, this is a great spot. But if you’re looking for dinner, drinks, or close hiking trails, I’d suggest looking closer to the park, or in Healy. "

"The lower rating 4/5 is due to the driveway area on the property which is rough but everything else was great. Partner and I stayed for 4 night. Place was exactly as it said- just right for 4 wonderful days in Denali. Host’s stepdaughter and friend were amazingly helpful for local tips, moose watching, northern lights and blueberries- we saw it all! Place was ideal for long days away and having a comfy bed and hot shower. Would love an electric skillet but everything else was well thought out...

"Great place to stay away from the busyness of Denali park. It was a short 20ish minute drive to the park but without all the people and noise. The exterior is pretty rustic and there is very little else around but the inside is really nice and recently renovated. Pull out couch bed worked great for our 2 younger kids and otherwise had everything we needed after a long day in the park."

"Property owner was very pleasant and helpful. Maintainace was awesome. Beautiful cabins. Very nice location"

"Wonderfully appointed, clean cabin in a charming setting close to the park. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit watching the airstrip as well as the surrounding scenery. Oh so close to Denali. Will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this property. (Airplane noise was not a distraction for us)"

"The house was very well appointed and clean. Communication with host was great. They were very accommodating to our schedule change. The view and setting were beautiful. Very convenient to Denali Park and restaurants. Highly recommend!"

"Wonderful home with beautiful views! We enjoyed our stay here a great deal and would highly recommend this home. The hosts were also very accommodating and responsive. Upon their direction we were able to find and pick fresh blueberries and eat at the nearby cozy cafe. Loved our time here!"

"We absolutely loved our three nights at Carlo Loft! The studio was in a quiet, private and convenient location. It was just a 10-minute walk to the McKinley Creekside Cafe which serves great meals and only a 15-minute drive to Denali National Park. It was extremely clean, nicely decorated, and was well-stocked with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable although you had to be careful not to bump your head on the slanted wall. If you plan to visit the Denali area, we highly recommend...

"Great stay at the Carlo House! Very comfortable atmosphere. Loved that everyone had their own space. We ate at their cafe and the food was excellent! Breakfast…Loved their Alaska Cinnamon Rolls!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend."
