"The hotel was central and not too far from the car park. However I have to say the bed was genuinely quite uncomfortable and the pillows disappeared when your head was on them. "In an excellent location across the street from where the action is and a short (and beautiful) walk from the train station, this seven-room hotel is dated and quirky, but the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were crisp and new. Beware, the stairs are not for folks with the slightest mobility issues. I’d recommend it to people willing to trade ultimate modern comfort for the sake of inexpensive accommodations. "

We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. ".This place was just okay. The room itself was fine, but when we arrived the heating was on full and it was unbearably hot. The window only opens a tiny amount, so there was no way to cool it down properly. We asked for the heating to be turned off, and the staff member did do that, but the radiator still seemed to be on — just slightly less hot. Because of this, we couldn’t sleep.
