The Red Door Inn is a spacious 4 bedroom home close to historic Downtown Canon City. Our family friendly home has great entertainment options within and in the surrounding area!
The house is equipped with wireless internet, 2 TVs and a game room with foosball table and game cabinet full of fun board games. The options for adventure outside of the house are Mountain Biking, Hiking, rafting, local site seeing and much more. For winter adventure skiing is just 1.5 hrs. away!

Amazing

We loved this property. This was a long weekend with friends for whitewater rafting. There was plenty of room for 7 of us. Check in was easy and the location was great. Close to things to do, downtown and shopping. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Communication

Similar complaints other reviewers have had. Did not receive the entry code and had to contact VRBO because host was not responsive. Had to get a code to the laundry though it is listed as an amenity. No real grill utensils and grill needs some TLC.The place was safe for young kids, other than the basement stairs. They found some wrappers from the previous guests. Otherwise a fine stay.

Comfortable home with great location to get to Shelf Road Climbing. Easy check in process. Clean. Well stocked and spacious kitchen.

Royal Gorge

The house looks small from the outside but the appearance is deceiving. There was plenty of room for our family and it was as described. The location is right across a church and in a very quiet neighborhood. Its proximity to the downtown area is great as it’s a couple of minutes if even that! The train for the Royal Gorge railroad is just a few minutes as well! The Royal Gorge itself was the furthest away and that was about a15 to 25 minute drive. On a side note the dinosaur experience, great for kids but no so much for adults. The house was clean and it was so nice and cool upon arrival. The code was provided before we left our house to get to the Vrbo residence. This whole experience was truly enjoyable and without problems. Would recommend this residence for anyone heading to Cañon City. The grid layout of the town makes getting around easy and getting lost almost an impossibility!

Ripped off and lied to.

They never sent login instructions. We had to wait. Once finally in we realized the house was only 44 degrees and the heater did not work. They sent an extremely drunk handyman over that made it clear he was mad about leaving his party to help. We left for over an hour and came back, the house was still only 44 degrees. We had to leave and make other reservations for the remainder of our stay not knowing the outcome of the property. They only refunded one night of 5 claiming i canceled within 7 days. Claim now approved with vrbo and Escalated to a case manager. Lastly one of my guys also noticed on our way out the laundry is locked up but advertised as an amenity on the page. Never again..

Not for us

The house is cute! But there was dead bugs in the sink and tub window. There was no trash bags. The church bells going off constantly should have been in the listing! The number that you are given if there is any issues goes unanswered! The electric was off when we got back to the house after a day of hiking and the house was 80 degrees the electric finally came back on and the ac would not work we had to turn it off and on for over two hours because again the calls/text were not answered! For what we paid to rent this house we just expected more

Great house

The house accommodated our large family while in town for a wedding. Plenty of room for all of us. Great location in town. Easy Parking. Everything we needed was there and very great communication from host. Easy check in and check out!

Great Experience
