"My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. "

"Great location on the lake with an incredible amount of activities to do on site. Lots of room and everything you could need is provided! Greats spots to also sit and relax and take in the scenery. We enjoyed the location very much for our family vacation."

"We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out...

"Fabulous property and it had everything someone could possibly need. Host was helpful and responsive. Perfect spot for a large family get together with so many outdoor activities and indoor fun with the game room. If I could give this 10 stars, I honestly would. If you’re thinking about it, just book it!"

"Family members in town for a funeral were very comfortable at this large, spotlessly clean home in a quiet neighborhood. Nearby restaurants and stores provided plenty of options for meals. The check in code did not work for the first guest who arrived, but a phone call to the host quickly resolved that small issue. We appreciate the clear directions and prompt communications all along. "

"The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. It was very nice. Lots of extras. We were in Minnesota for a family reunion so it was awesome to have a full kitchen to fix dishes and a washer and dryer to do laundry. Connie is also very honest. I left a bag of chargers and she sent it to me. Totally wonderful person! We’d definitely stay there again"

"We have stayed at this lovely home multiple times over the course of our child’s time at Carleton College. It’s become for us, our home away from home, a place where our shoulders go down the moment we arrive. The owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful in how they prepare for and communicate with guests. It’s always clean and furnished in a way that lends itself to good sleep and relaxation. It’s also conveniently located, within a few blocks of campus, the Weitz Center, or downtown....
