This cheery, dog-friendly cottage in Cannon Beach offers a prime location with easy beach access and walking distance to town. This rental is one of six quaint units in the Hidden Villa Cottages centered around a charming common courtyard area featuring a bubbling brook.

Tucked away in a quiet residential community in mid-town Cannon Beach, this rental is about a block from the sandy beach for beachcombing and kite flying and Haystack Rock for tide pooling. The town's bustling business district is a short walk away for antique shops, upscale boutiques, local pubs, and other eateries. Other activities include hiking and whale watching.

The place was cozy and fun. The wi-fi was a little spotty in cabin #3, while we had good wi-fi when we were here last in cabin #2. The gas fireplace in cabin #3 would not turn on after trying the knobs/switches, but we stayed warm from just the heaters. We will return again and again, love it.

The property was dog friendly. The room was clean although the couch had huge cracks in it and was torn about 6-8 inches along the seam on the right side. The over stuffed chair leaned to one side. One leg on the bathroom sink was not assisting in holding up the sink. The fireplace didn’t work. The TV remotes had no batteries. Vacasa responded quickly when these issues were pointed out. When the maintenance person came over to take care of some the problems he mentioned that the units were being remodeled, furniture replaced, and the fireplace fixed at that time.

Overall our stay was very pleasant. The couch should be replaced. It is very worn and does not look like the picture to the left. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner containers in the shower were esentially empty. the front common area was nice. The location was great. Bed was very comfortable.

Great location - hard to beat

Place is a block from the beach. Cannot say enough good things about this town. Can't wait to go back. The pull-out couch needs updating as there are a number of tears in the leather and a bar, under the leather, that you cannot see but will definitely feel if sat upon.For the price, great place and would gladly stay there again.

Great price for a weekend getaway

2nd time staring at this place. First time I stayed was back in October and I shared that the place wasn’t as clean. They listened and the place was clean. Minutes from the beach and downtown for the price makes it well worth the stay. Will book again!

Cute and great location but unkept

The cottage was very cute and had few updates but the furniture and appliances were dirty. Coffee pot had dried up coffee in the bottom. And there were small black ants left dead under the kitchen sink and a few living ants walking the countertop and in the bathroom. There was also dog hair and cob webs found throughout and the spare sheets were crumpled up in a drawer and seemed like they were not clean. Too bad because if it had been cleaner it would have been a great stay.

Convenient location, couple minutes to the beach and a few minutes to town it was perfect. They definitely need to take more care in cleaning the place. Regardless the sheets were clean and plenty of fresh towels.

Stained sheets

When we went to climb in bed, we saw there were marks that looked like it had been wet and it dried. We texted Vacasa and for almost two hours they said someone locale would take care of the bedding. At ten minutes to 11:00 pm we were told that they would take care of the issue tomorrow. They never did. We put a blanket over the top of the bed and used a sheet to cover up with for both nights.
