Canmore is growing quickly, and with growth in such a beautiful part of the world comes an increase in visitors - especially when it comes to parking. If you’re travelling with more than one vehicle, please be prepared for some challenges, particularly with street parking. The most difficult time to find a space is often later in the evening.



You’ll find a few options for parking in Canmore:



- Limited Free Street Parking – Available on a first-come, first-served basis in some areas.

- Paid Parking Lots – Certain public and private lots offer hourly or daily rates.

- Standard-Sized Stalls – Most designated spots (including the first included vehicle space) are standard size, which may be tight for large vehicles or trucks.



Please note: The busiest times for parking are during high season (June through the end of September) and on weekends year-round. Plan ahead and allow extra time to secure parking during these periods.
