"The wee beastie house is one of my favourite stays of all time. The views, the bedrooms with ensuites, the well stocked kitchen, the yoga mats and a great host make this a top place to stay. Highly recommend and would come back in a heart beat. If you have the opportunity book it! "

"Great little unit that was spacious and easy to find. Close to Baddeck with easy access to the rest of the island. Little playground for the kids was a nice touch, especially when the parents were trying to pack up. We did notice that the fridge didn't seem to be cleaned from the last guest. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!!"

"Quiet and clean but bathroom door has poor lock. Hard to find your driveway entrance due to sign fallen down and no reflective tape marking."

"We enjoy this property so much it is private and peaceful. The cottage sits on the lake with a we’ll built stairway to the lake."

"Two sets of family stayed at this property and it was more than enough room. The house was very clean and tidy and a comfortable space. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials and all bathrooms had plenty of soap, paper towel and toilet paper. The host was super friendly and helpful. They were very quick to respond to inquiries and helpful recommendations. Overall, the property met our needs and we really enjoyed our stay. Over"

"Good basic house just outside the town of Baddeck. Not really walkable into downtown, but just a five-minute drive with plenty of parking. Open living area, but just a little cramped. Good breeze with windows open to cool down the house on a warm summer day. Would stay again."

"We had a great stay at this cabin! It was exactly as pictured—clean, cozy, and well-kept. Everything met our expectations, and we had no issues during our stay. A peaceful spot and a great place to unwind. Would definitely recommend!"

"We certainly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful setting. The cottages were well stocked with everything we needed! The check-in and check-out process was easy to follow and the host was very responsive to the few questions we had."

"The Hosts and the Accomodations both came with high praise and both certainly delivered. Doug and Carrie were very personable and made us feel at home. The accomodations had everything and the property was very beautiful with stunning sunsets. If we ever find ourselves back in Inverness, will definitely try and rebook here."

"This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again."

"Wonderful home with gorgeous scenery. Kayaks were the perfect amenity for exploring the lake. Would happily stay there again!"

"Michael and Winnie greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. Beautiful people and the best hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. Our accommodation was above and beyond, equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Our cottage was so comfortable and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to family. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful time at this cottage. I would come back in a heartbeat. With a full kitchen we were able to make dinner and plan meals for our day trips. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of blankets for the chillier nights. The grounds were beautiful with lots of space for the kids to play. The back porch was a peaceful place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. I don’t have any negative comments, nothing could have been better. It was absolutely perfect. "
