Cozy Home Away From Home- Condo In Waterville Valley Estates

  • Relax with the family at this cozy home away from home. Enjoy the great outdoors with hiking, skiing and sledding in the White Mountains of Waterville Estates. Per Waterville Estate regulation, booking guest must be at least 24 years of age.
    We enjoy sharing our home with others. Please be respectful of the property and surrounding neighbors as regards to picking up trash after grilling and monitoring noise levels. Guests are also reminded to abide by the rules and regulations of the Waterville Valley Estate. Upon check-out, guests are responsible for the following:
    -Closing and locking all windows and doors
    -Turning all lights turned
    -Refrigerator, cupboards and closets removed of all personal items.
    -All trash is placed in the dumpster located outside the home.
    -Thermostat lowered to 55 degrees.
    -Strip all beds used of linens and place at the bottom of the steps along with used towels, rags and face cloths.
    -Load and start the dishwasher
    -Plug camera in the laundry room back in

This condo was clean and welcoming. Meshel was an excellent host, responding very quickly to any questions we had. It is so close to skiing, Ice Castles and tubing! The clubhouse is close and we all enjoyed the pool. Although they didn't have any towels to rent so take a few of your own if you can. We had a great time and the condo easily slept my husband and I, our 2 kids and their kids. The only thing they could add is a blow dryer. We would definitely go back.

Large, clean and comfortable condo in a beautiful setting, with hiking trails nearby and a lake and fabulous community center a short ride away.

I would strongly caution anyone considering staying at this condo. The listing failed to disclose that the unit does **not** have air conditioning. We were only informed of this after we had already checked in, which was especially problematic over the Fourth of July weekend during hot weather. When we arrived, the refrigerator was unplugged and all of the water to the condo had been turned off. We were instructed to plug the refrigerator in and turn the water back on ourselves. This meant the refrigerator was not cold upon our arrival, making it impossible to safely store any refrigerated groceries or beverages we had brought with us. The basement had extensive water damage, along with a strong mold and mildew odor. One member of our group became severely ill after staying there, and we were very concerned that the condition of the basement may have contributed to it. There were also several signs that the property was not well maintained. For example, the trash bag provided was an old recycled mulch bag rather than a proper trash liner. Overall, we feel this property was advertised in a misleading way. Important information about the lack of air conditioning, the condition of the basement, and the expectation that guests would need to turn on the water and refrigerator upon arrival should have been clearly disclosed before booking so guests could make an informed decision. Please do your research before booking this property. Based on our experience, we would not stay

Health Hazard Warning We arrived after midnight to find the water shut off, the fridge unplugged, and the entire house reeking of mildew/mold. The lower level was damp, crawling with spiders, and the air was unsafe to breathe. Most windows showed signs of leakage with visible water damage and mold stains. We left a day early for our health, asked for a refund, and were refused. This property is dangerous, should not be listed until professionally remediated, and must be avoided at all costs.

Me and my family spend two nights here we love the area of the home was very clean they were very organized with their instructions very easy it was a very relaxing process loved it I really will recommend
