"The views of the Fall colors was beautiful! My favorite place to enjoy morning coffee ( and a nap!) was the lounge chair in the loft. We used the firepit both nights and enjoyed the string lights on the patio. A walking trail was within 50 ft of the cottage. Due to cool temps, we didn't use the boat or canoe, but they were available. The cottage was roomy and back outdoor space was a perfect space to enjoy the view. Nice and peaceful! We will definitely be back."

"A wonderful, post-Labor Day getaway for those who would avoid the high-summer bedlam on Auburn Lake. Our mid-week, three-day stay encountered but a single jet ski; thus, we frolicked and swam off the paddle boat (provided) for hours without a wake in sight. Of the cottage amenities and overall impression let me say, simply, that we've never encountered a more thorough or conscientious host. "The cabin was very clean and cozy, with comfy furniture and beds, and a fully stocked kitchen to make any kind of meal your heart desires. ( minus the food, of course). They had a cute welcome sign for us and our dog bear. They left snacks for us, which I thought was super nice. They even had dog dishes and water bowls. That was awesome because I had forgotten to bring mine. The view from the cabin was exquisite. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and stay again. Thank you,...

"This is our second year staying at Juniper and Oak Lake House. Its the perfect vibe for a large group with lots to do on property and nearby. Shannon is a wonderful host and has thought of so many extra touches that make your stay so cozy. This year we rented the big house and the cabin in the back which is also gorgeous! "The location is great! Hiking trails are well maintained and easy to navigate. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only suggestion I’d like to make is add more kitchen supplies such as bowls, mugs, bigger skillet, foil, and TP, as we ran out and there wasn’t any extra. "
