"The property is lovey and would stay here again. Only about 20 minutes from Sequoia National Park entrance. A short walk from the cabin to the decks on the river provided relaxing evenings to the sound of the river.Srey, the host, provided us with detailed information about the property and while we didn't see or speak to him during our stay, I was confident he would quickly respond should we need anything.Highly recommend "

"We received the check-in info 1.5 weeks before we arrived. Which was great beacuse I knew my phone would not work at the house, we have Verizon. The Wifi worked great! The kitchen was clean and well stocked with many pot and pans we didnt use many but I was was impressed with the selection. The showers were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. "The property is very close to Sequoia National Park, which is what we wanted. We traveled as a family of five (2 parents, 3 kids), and the space was perfect! The kids loved the loft, and my husband and I had our own room to relax in. Everything we needed was there so we could cook or meals in the morning and evening when we weren't at the National Park. The air conditioners worked well and kept us comfortable when it was the mid 90s outside. The space was very clean and cozy and we enjoyed our...

"Our stay at the River Retreat House was absolutely wonderful. The home is well appointed and in close proximity to SNP, which was very much ideal for us after long days out. We truly wish we had been able to stay even longer."

"The Cabin is really beautiful and spacious. The host left us a welcome basket of goodies and coffee. The kitchen was fully stocked with multiple appliances to use. There was towels and ballets supplied for us to use. Host was generous and allowed us to do a late check out of the cabin. My family and i enjoyed staying here while visiting Sequoia National Park. "This place is magical, and Chris is an excellent host! The home is clean, beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked, extra towels are provided, the furniture is so comfortable. The area surrounding the cabin is gorgeous and peaceful. We had a wonderful time!!! "

"We loved our stay; as the kids said, it was “better than ice cream”! Cozy and pretty, with beautiful trees and views. Redwoods right outside your door! We had campfire nights with s’mores, dinners on the patio, and slept great in the mountain air. I really loved the primary bedroom and our girls loved the bunk beds (and toy area). "

"Great house close to entrance to sequoia. Slept out on the deck under an amazing sky full of stars a couple of nights. It was wonderful waking up to the sounds of the river and the wild turkeys! Highly recommend!"
