"Beautifully furnished and comfortable condo nestled in a jungle setting overlooking the ocean. Sparkling clean infinity pool, full kitchen, BBQ pit on back patio, excellent service from host and staff. The 5k maintained rock road to get there from main hwy is a bit of a rough drive but well worth it. This was our 5th trip to Costa Rica and we have stayed at many wonderful places- but none as amazing as CanaVida. Only stayed 2 nights- wish we had stayed 2 weeks! "

"L'endroit est parfait pour explorer Baie Drake et en étant un peu retiré pour la tranquillité. Sebastian le proprio offre le service de taxi pour un prix très raisonnable. Le balcon donne sur les arbres et les singes viennent à cet endroit. Sécuritaire pour aller seule à pied au village le soir avec lampe frontale. 1 km de la mer et 2 km du village. Super endroit confortable et chaleureux."

"Amazing views and place! Unfortunately we had airline connection issues and missed a full day. Mark is a great guy who is readily available for questions and help. Saw some toucans, hawk lots of unidentified birds. Love the pool and peaceful surroundings. Really amazing location with minimal drive to main road. Had 4wheel but never needed. Hubby enjoyed the hammock. Thank you Mark for sharing your beautiful house! Wish we had booked longer not enough time to explore the area. Hope to return...

"The location was very nice. Unfortunately, the towels and especially the sheets were very dirty. After we complained, we received new towels but no new sheets. The mosquito nets were broken in many places, allowing a lot of insects to get into the house. The couch was also badly damaged, but instead of replacing it, a blanket was put over it. The refrigerator is rusted on the outside. Both toilets/bathrooms couldn't be closed. Overall, unfortunately, only 5/10. "

"Our stay was more than we could have dreamed of. The house was larger and more beautiful than it appears in the pictures. It was closer to the ocean than expected and the yard and beaches were gorgeous. We went for spring break and hardly saw any other people on the beach! The access to Playa Archo was so fun because it felt like our little secret. We were so thankful for the air conditioning in one bedroom. "We stayed in the Superior Villa/Villa Agalla and the view was beautiful. The property felt secluded and we enjoyed our stay. This villa does need some maintenance, but overall a wonderful week. For example, the shower floor tiles are loose and will stick to to the bottom of your feet. We couldn't use the grill because it is charcoal but the bottom is burned out of it. There is no air conditioned common space, it is all open air. However, the bedrooms are air conditioned for a good nights...
