"They stay was very nice. We enjoyed cooking outside with BBQ pit that was provide it. Plenty of outdoor seating. Only thing, the bathroom shower door did not want to close all the way and the front screen door would get stuck at the bottom so we had to be careful when opening. Everything was very clean and exactly as described. Neighbors were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This was an amazing trip, the check in was seamless. The house is truly amazing the pictures don’t do it justice. The 2 kitchens were great that will spoil you fast. All the beds were so comfortable. We fished and even though we only got 1 keeper it was so much fun catching them, the deck over looking the canal was nice watching the boats come and go. This place provides you everything you need just bring your clothes and some food, your ready to go we smoked ribs grilled steaks, boiled shrimp...

"Me and my 4 boys ages 6, 14, & 15 really enjoyed our stay. Definitely thinking about renting it again next summer! "

"I definitely recommend this location. It was a beautiful home. I have never stayed in a place that had every single thing you needed minus the food, of course. The cabin was beautiful, very clean The host response to you very quickly. The only thing I wish was different was a closer location to go fishing something walking distance But besides that I would definitely stay at this location again "

"Beautiful home, and right on the canal. The house had absolutely everything we needed, and the ice maker downstairs was just an added bonus. We can't wait to return and stay again."

"There was ten people in our party, but the property could easily accommodate six more. The different sitting areas made it easy to spread around. The lift was very helpful for getting the luggage up. Great place if you want to get away from it all, but still have the comforts of home. "

"This place was the perfect quiet get away. It was near enough to Holly Beach and Hackberry to enjoy the major crabbing spots but away from the “party” life of Holly Beach. It is directly on the beach with the perfect morning and sunset view. The host was extremely responsive and kind. The home had everything you could need and more. You could smell how clean it was the second you walked in. Highly Recommend! "

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The property has beautiful live oaks and plenty of wildlife to watch while sitting on the porch. The house had everything we needed, with a Keurig, washer and dryer being the most important amenities for our family. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept on. It is a very easy and rather short drive from Lake Charles. We had never stayed on the eastern side of the lake but we enjoyed exploring the area and finding new...

"Awesome house just as advertized!!! The pier was awesome we caught sting rays,drums,gaftop,croakers,alligator gar.Someone had a fish on almost the whole day. We used shrimp and shad we caught with a cast net. Great trip hope we can go back one day."

"We really liked the house. It was very nice and clean, inside & out. It had everything we needed to get through our weekend, beds were comfortable and the A/C worked great. The launch and dock were nice and the canal allowed easy access to the lake. Communication with Mr. Wright was also great as he answered on the first ring when I had to call and ask him to unlock the house, when we locked the keys inside. We’d definitely stay here again. "

"This home was precious. It was built in 1980 and looks like it hasn't been updated since, HOWEVER it was a wonderful place to stay. The beds were comfortable, the house was spotless and very well maintained, and had everything we needed for a quick weekend visit with family. 10/10 would stay here again!"
