"This was our first time visiting Cornwall, and we were looking forward to a relaxing couple of days with the family. Unfortunately, the accommodation left much to be desired. Finding the cottage was challenging as the directions provided were unclear. We ended up having to stop and ask locals for guidance before finally locating it. The cottage itself was pleasant in some ways — we loved the beach-themed décor, and there was a generous selection of books, games, DVDs, and CDs for us to enjoy....

"The peoperty is in a great location, check in and check out were completely hassle free. The property itself was rwally clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything you need. The washing machine was a godsend for a beach location like Cornwall. Would definitely recommend, especially for families with small children."

"Beautiful modern apartment close to the water and train station. A wonderful owner who helped us in every possible way. The only downside is that we expected at least a gas pump, as every time we travel, and we only found a microwave, it was sad. In addition, as an asthmatic, I had to clean up the dust myself, which clearly wasn't cleaned for a long time, because such amounts of dust are not even after a week. We couldn't sleep because I was suffocating all the first night until I cleaned up by...

"What an amazing place! Set in beautiful gardens and full of wildlife! Beautiful accommodation and so nice to be able to walk around all the gardens! The Japanese garden was our favourite! Also the cakes and coffee in the cafe are lovely! "

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

"back of settee collapsed when autistc son on it, i repaired it, but it needs repair it is dangerous. I told sykes NO response very poor. Also implied is 2 minutes walk from beach is 8 minute drive at least. "

"Lovely, modern, spacious apartment. Catered for everything, towels, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, even cling film! Only downside was that the beds weren’t the most comfortable but stunning view. Great communication from host too."

"Check in was very smooth. Nicki responded promptly to any queries. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen including sharp knives, which is a rarity! Very comfortable beds and lovely linen. Nice quiet site with plenty of life up at the bar"

"Brilliant location, just over 10 mins walk to the coast path and beach. Pet- friendly, quiet and great communication with the owners. Have stayed before, and would definitely come back again if we come to the same area. What more could we want? "

"Fantastic property, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Ideal position to go to Padstow harbour as well, all though it was a lot steeper than we realised to get down and back! Great place to stay, quite central to other attractions in Cornwall as well. Would definitely stay again. "

"Great place for 4 to stay in Cornwall. Kitchen is well-equipped and clean, beds are as advertised. The villlage is this nice little place around a huge sandy beach, which you can reach by foot from anywhere in the village. All in all, we really liked this place. "
