Location is very nice for families or people wanting a lake experience. We wanted to go downtown and that was a jaunt."

"The property was as described. It was a very spacious house fully capable to accommodate 15 people. In addition there was a full size game room for the kids and beautiful lake frontage with a dock. The kids were had an amazing time catching pan fish and enjoying playing in the water. It is hard to find suitable housing for a group this large, but this one checked most all the boxes for us and then some. "

"We were attending a family wedding in Scandia, but also visiting with relatives in the Twin Cities. This charming Forest Lake cottage was the perfect escape from all of the activity. It had everything we needed for our stay. Its location near the lake was ideal for relaxing walks and exploring the local area. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and truly enjoyable. Sonja was a terrific host, making sure we had everything we needed and responding to questions right away. A special thanks...

"This was such a cute little cabin. Please know that the pirmary bedroom is just a bed in a room without much room for anything else. This was more than fine for me. The view of the lake and sitting out of the dock was wonderful, beautiful, and relaxing. "

"An absolutely delightful place, minutes from any place you want to be in the Elk River region. Tucked in the trees along the water. Cozy, warm, comfortable, amenities and decorations are spot on. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be headed back. We can’t say it enough nice things about the place and the hosts. You can tell how much they love the space just by being there. "Great family stay. FABULOUS yard with lot of stuff to do. Kayaks were a blast. Nice beach and fire pit along with horseshoe pits. Forget the hotels in this area and stay here."
