Located on a private 27 acre estate is nestled a mere 200 feet from the banks of the Choptank River. Whether you have had a full day of shopping and antiquing in nearby Easton, Oxford, or St. Michaels or are tired from a day of golf at the country club less than five miles from the home, or just lazing away the day on your private secluded beach the sounds of the river lapping on the shoreline will gently massage your worries away as you sleep.
This century old estate offers our guests exclusive privacy unlike your typical beachgoers. Plan however to have plenty of visitors during your stay. Horns Point is abundant with wildlife. Families of deer tend to the fallen fruits in our orchard, while restless squirrels scurry collecting nuts for their long winters nap. The American bald eagles fly high above their osprey relatives, all looking for a snack to feed their brood. Venture out for an early morning walk or run on this deserted dead end back road and you may run into our masked neighbors as they make their way back to their daytime burrow or amazed by the aerobatic maneuvers of the flying Delmarva fox squirrels, or follow the rattata sound until you reach the location of a pileated woodpecker. Every morning you can witness the aerobatic maneuvers of our duck squadron as they do an early morning flyby, or the ballet performance of a flock of Canadian geese or Great Blue Herons.

Cambridge Waterfront

So freekin cute! Loved the cottage and the pool. We were blessed to spend time at the pool with the owners and their delightful family! The whole property is gorgeous. Little beach! Perfect get away from the city. Close enough to Cambridge proper to get anything you want/need. We will visit again!!

A lovely cottage with amazing hosts!

We came for the Ironman 140.6 and we lucked out finding this lovely cottage! It was the perfect location, the property was beautful, and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. Dave and Cindy were so kind and helpful! They welcomed us to the property, gave us restaurant recommendations, let us pick some figs, and were very helpful when I left something behind. We would love to stay again!

Get away, very quiet!

An outstanding get away with wife and dog to see some great sights and relax. Plus, Dave and Cindy are the best hosts! We went to Oxford, Saint Michaels, Ocean City boardwalk, Blackwater wildlife refuge, Harriet Tubman museum and lots of fresh seafood. Enjoyed the pool, sunrises and sunsets. Dave and Cindy will ensure you enjoy your stay and help by providing ideas to explore the area. Thanks for a great week!

We had a lovely vacation. The weather was great. The cottage was perfect. The views were amazing. We enjoyed visiting the local attractions and the serenity of the property. Beautiful place! Would stay again

We had a beautiful long weekend stay at the property. Absolutely beautiful, quiet location on the Choptank River, just as advertised. The hosts were very friendly and respected privacy. Very clean and comfortable house with absolutely beautiful pool with views to the river across the yard. A nice day trip nearby is to visit St Michael’s MD, about 40 mins - sailboat rides and the outstanding Chesapeake Bay Maritime Miseum. And good seafood places on the water in nearby Cambridge.

Lovely!

My 3 year old daughter and I visited the cottage for a weekend and had a great time! The property is beautiful and great for exploring. We enjoyed time in the pool as well as by the lake building sand castles. The owners Cindy and Dave are friendly and communicative. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable time! We will certainly be back!

Cindy and Dave were wonderful hosts and the property is absolutely gorgeous. It was very special having a private pool to ourselves and the cottage was spacious and had all we needed. We hope to get back there sometime.

Wonderful experience

The property and the hosts exceeded our expectations. The property had the most amazing waterfront views with spectacular sunrises. It is wonderfully landscaped and has beautiful Cedars, Fig and Elm trees around the grounds. Dave and Cindy were great hosts and made our time there even better. They were very responsive, friendly and committed to ensuring we had a great experience!

Nice Cottage and Property

Rented the Cottage. Photographs online of the interior of the Cottage make it look smaller than it actually is. The furniture was very comfortable and the Cottage and outside were very clean. The Hosts were accommodating, live on the property, but are not intrusive at all. The cons to this very nice property: There was no hot water in the main bathroom sink, and the grill was too dirty to use. The little beach area was not for us, but the pool area is the place to be anyway.

What a great place!!

We stayed at Dave and Cindy place for Ironman 70.3 Eagleman and it was just perfect. The cottage is well equipped, hanging by the pool was awesome and an ocean swim just steps down the yard. Our hosts were super friendly and super helpful during our stay. Highly recommend.

Nice spot for a quiet getaway

My wife and I stayed here over a long weekend. The owners, Dave and Cindy, were very kind and checked in with us before and during our stay. The property has two buildings: a cottage (with 1 bedroom and 1 king-size bed, 1.5 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room—see the photos) and a house (see the video). We stayed in the cottage, which was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching birds in the backyard, relaxing by the pool, and visiting Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge just 20 minutes away.

Lovely Place

Dave and Cindy were very communicative. The property was lovely. Very secluded and private. Access to the water is on the property along with a nice and private pool. Access to the town, grocery stores and restaurants is all within a reason drive. Again, the owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Small Slice of Heaven

The host was extremely attentive to anything we needed. Other than a couple random questions, everything was thoroughly explained in the welcome guide and house rules located in the kitchen. This is the perfect place to rest, relax and get away from the hustle & bustle of the DMV. The views are unparalleled and the property is very well-maintained. I wish we could’ve stayed longer but we will definitely go back as soon as humanly possible!!

Great Spot for Relaxation

Cabin was well-stocked, very clean and had great amenities. Definitely a great spot to get away from it all and relax. The hosts were great and responsive to fixing the internet when it went out. Overall it was a great stay.

Beautiful

The property was beautiful and the owners were lovely. The owners gave us space & made us feel very comfortable. They gave us fixings for s’mores….. even the sticks to roast the marshmallows were at our door. Fishing was very fun. We saw jelly fish and sting rays. Thanks for the great trip.
