"We had a fantastic time at the Mountain Inn. I was there for a 100 mile race and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed to be successful. They even went to the trouble to make me my own breakfast to go! We will absolutely be back to see JP and Bodie!"

The entire place is so nice and cozy, and I loved the home-baked cookies and coffee/tea station. My partner and I also greatly enjoyed the hot tub and the delicious breakfast. "Amazing hot pool, great staff, another marvelous stay very close to the mountain and plenty of other activities. Laundry room is clutch (coin operated machines, change available at front desk). The wife had an injury and wasn't able to navigate stairs all that well, the front desk was understanding and were kind enough to move our room to the main floor, requiring no stairs, while the elevator was being worked on. New ownership is busy making some upgrades and maintenance and hopefully the vibes...

"We found our check-in to be accomodating especially since I have mobility issues. Our room was to be on the second floor and we were provided with a first floor upgrade at a nominal fee. It was quiet with a comfortable bed . We did find that our operation of the television was quite difficult. We feel there should have been more explanation on its control. "gym was well equipped the woman's changing room reeked of urine as the toilets were not flushing. Everything was musty and smelled awful. The steamer room was closed , the heated pool entrance was filthy The Mountain View was exceptional even though the weather was horrible "

"This is a spectacular property. See other reviews for details. I would warn other that the check in tech was not able to find my reservation. Help button at the unmanned desk did not summon anyone. I had to find the confirmation email and call the number. I was then given the wrong room number by that person. I think the link between Expedia and the property is weak, and the timing of the texts the property sends was late to me."

"We had one of the apartments out back and it was really nice. The staff was very responsive and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good and the waiter, Brian I think, was a very nice deadpan comedian. We enjoyed the hot tub too! The only thing we didn't appreciate was that it took about 10 minutes of running the water to get hot water for the sinks and showers. Not really a problem to wait, but it seems a waste of water."

I was able to book my room quickly and they had availability even the week before at exceptional pricing. Steve was very accommodating even when we got to the inn late Friday night.
