Fully Air Conditioned 4 double Bedroom Family Villa with Swimming Pool / Gardens

Villa Suro is a spacious property with secure garden which is ideally suited to family groups perhaps consisting of two families with a total of 8 persons (one additional child only to total of 9 persons).

It has a well maintained 8 x 4 metre swimming pool and surrounding patio area with a secure parking and enjoys fine views of the Mediterranean Sea, local vineyards, the beautiful Les Gavarres Hills and surrounding countryside.It is situated in a semi rural quiet location on a recently fully refurbished urbanisation with now has new roads and pavements throughout.

It is easy walking distance into the medieval centre of Calonge and is just 4kms (10 minutes drive) to nearest beaches at Sant Antoni de Calonge.

There is a included free powerful Wifi system within the property.

The interior open plan living area design is spacious.

The bathroom and wet room is modern and fully tiled with modern Roca bathware.

Each bedroom is fully air conditioned.

The kitchen and dining area is fully equipped for self catering within the house or alfresco dining on the roof terrace or around the table and seating around the BBQ area. There are amazing views of the beautiful surroundings from the roof terrace or from the first floor outside balcony of the main building accessed via the open plan living area. Also brilliant for star gazing on a clear night.

Palamos and Torre Valentino in just 10 to 15 minutes drive. Slightly further at around 20 minutes drive is La Fosca (our favourite), Platja D' Aro, S'Agarro and Sant Felieu.

As you can see there are numerous spaces to spend quiet periods or to join in the main group fun as suits your mood. All of the beautiful scenery

The swimming pool / patio area is gated for safety of small children and the pool is entered by corner roman steps. The pool is 8 x 4 meters size and is 1 metre deep at one end and 2 metres at the other. There is ample lighting around the pool for late evenings as required.

The gardens with palm trees ,large lemon tree, various other plants and pool are well maintained throughout the year.

The villa has undergone a complete internal modernisation in recent years including bathrooms, bedrooms, a spacious modern open plan living area with a well equipped kitchen and dining area with a fully fitted kitchen complete with granite worktops, Miele Oven, halogen hob, Bosch dishwasher, large family sized Bosch fridge/freezer and washing machine.

All windows and doors are aluminium double glazing. The window frames have retractable mosquito nets fitted in bedrooms and bathroom. The windows are also tilt and turn. The doors have high security locks fitted.

The property is fully air conditioned for those hot summer months in the living space. All four bedrooms were fitted with new Daikin air conditioning in April 2023 which are very energy efficient, quiet and effective.

There is a fully monitored Securitas alarm fitted for peace of mind. It should be noted this is a low crime area.

We have been renting through Homeaway and now VRBO (on takeover) since 2007 and consistently receiving a total of 43 very favourable reviews from clients over the period 2007 to present with an average of 4.8 out of 5 stars. This tends to suggest Villa Suro has been tried and tested by previous clients and found to be a great place to enjoy your family holidays. We also have a number of repeat bookings. The whole area really is beautiful and friendly. Please read reviews section on this platform.

There are coastal walks throughout the whole area. The vibrant family friendly and wonderful town of Palamos is just 15 minutes drive from us with its charming old town, beaches, fish restaurants and tapas bars.

The nearest supermarket is 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car.

The medieval town of Calonge with castle and town square with a few bars and eating places is 15 minutes walk from us. There are established hiking and cycle routes from Calonge. Cycle hire is also possible.

Girona is around 30 minutes drive and we are just 120kms from fabulous Barcelona. Both locations are steeped in history and culture.

The area is very popular with national and road cycling routes. We have garage facilities to keep securely all cycles and golf equipment.

There are several good quality golf courses within 40 minutes drive of the villa. The nearest being Club Golf D'Aro Mas Nou which is 15 minutes drive. PGA Catalunya, Girona at 30 minutes drive.

Bonjour, La maison est tres bien, bien situee, que ce soit pour les amoureux de la plage ou des visites (pas trop loin de Barcelone / Figueres ...) Je recommande. Seule information, la cuisine est a l'etage et il y a donc un escalier pour rejoindre la piscine et la table exterieure. Merci

We so enjoyed our time in this villa - the whole layout worked really well for our mixture of adults and children - we could even put the early riser and Mum upstairs and the rest downstairs! Well equipped kitchen. Very comfy sofas. Great outside spaces. Very clean. Only improvements could be two pillows on the beds and a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival just to see you through until you can get to the shops. The pool was exactly the right size and super clean. Good number of umbrellas for shade and the sail type thing over the outside table. Good number of lunge chairs. Air conditioning worked well. We loved the village of Calonge with the old castle and buildings. Friendly kind shopkeepers and restauranteurs. Good information about places to visit and beaches. We loved it all.

La estancia ha sido buena. Destacar la adecuación de la realidad con lo que se indica en el anuncio. El único "pero", sería que 3 de las habitaciones se anuncian en la planta baja, aunque se podría decir que más bien es un semisotano . Destacar también que tiene aire en todas las habitaciones pese a que en el anuncio no queda claro.

We arrived at the villa after spending a couple of hot busy days sightseeing in Barcelona. We called into the local supermarket (loads of them close by) we then found the villa easily and soon settled in. Loads of space for our family of 6 ( kids 18 years - 12 years. )The pool is amazing and there are so many places to sit in the sun or the shade. The villa has everything you need in the kitchen. We visited some amazing places Tossa de mar and paddle boarded at Cala S’Alguer. The kids loved the water park and according to my boys the best pizza ever at Palamós Pizzeria L’Arcobaleno di Francesca. You do need a car but if you like somewhere away from the crowds this is the perfect place to base yourselves. So much more to explore, we will definitely be back.

Belle villa avec tout le confort nécessaire, superbe piscine. Service de nettoyage chaise semaine avec changement des draps et des serviettes, ménage, piscinistes tout les deux jours! La villa est bien situe proche du centre, à 15 minutes des plages, bons restaurants à proximité

Het huis is prima, alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Ijskast was kapot maar dezelfde dag werd er een nieuwe bezorgd. Eigenaar is zeer begaan met feit dat je een leuke en onbezorgde vakantie hebt, gewoon top. Het enige nadeel is dat de wegen in de wijk onverhard zijn, ze zijn/gaan asfalteren. Accommodatie en verblijf krijgen van ons als cijfer een 8,5. Danny

Die Villa ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Wir haben uns alle wieder sehr wohl gefühlt .Der Vermieter ist sehr engagiert und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und waren mit Sicherheit nicht zum letzten mal dort.

Schöne Unterkunft mit genügend Platz für 9 Personen. Ob nun abkühlen und entspannen am Pool oder doch lieber ein paar Stunden am Meer verbringen... alle waren happy! Das Haus, der Garten und Pool... TOP! Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln. Wir wären sehr gerne länger geblieben. Wirklich sehr zu Empfehlen! Vielen Dank

Villa Suro was a great place to stay for an extended family ranging in age from 14 to 75. The layout of the villa is a little quirky with most of the bedrooms on the ground floor but this means you get great views across to the coast from upstairs and cool rooms for sleeping in (we were there in August and didn’t miss a/c in bedrooms as they are naturally cool and have electric fans). The kitchen is well-equipped, the pool area is fantastic and there are many different places to sit / eat / play cards and games. Calonge itself is a small and interesting town with a pretty square and good Thursday market easily walkable for most. A car is needed to get to the beach which is large - loads of space - beautiful clean sand and safe for swimming. There are also some lovely coves further along the coast. Richard the owner and Janice the house manager were both very responsive to our texts / queries with a couple of minor things being sorted straight away, we couldn’t have asked for more!

Het huis en het zwembad zijn absoluut geweldig. Een paar dingen waar we tegenaan liepen, zijn dat de stroom regelmatig geheel wegviel. Gekke is dat de hoofdschakelaar normaal blijft. Deze moet je dan uit en aan zetten…. Het gebeurt veelal als je bijvoorbeeld de airco en de oven aan hebt. Verder zijn de slaapkamers erg warm. We misten een airco in de slaapkamers. Maar gelukkig zijn er wel ventilatoren, maar dat was niet genoeg. Verder heb je echt een auto nodig om dingen te doen, maar dat was prima.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in het mooie huis. Het was super schoon en de inboedel is zeer compleet, heel veel keukengerei ook. De ligging van het huis is perfect. De communicatie met de eigenaar was erg prettig. Ik verwacht dat we dit huis zeker nog een keer boeken!

Das Haus ist sehr schön und wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Sehr gepflegt, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Reibungsloser check-in und Ablauf im Vorfeld. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und die Kommunikation hat super funktioniert.

La maison était très agréable et adaptée pour 8 personnes. Nous n'avons manqué de rien, tout l'équipement nécessaire était présent. Les propriétaires ont été très gentils et pleins de conseils qui nous ont beaucoup servis. Je recommande cette maison sans hésitation!

La maison est vraiment sympa, bien agencée et équipée, la piscine également. Le propriétaire est disponible, très à l'écoute, et réactif.(par message). Vraiment de supers vacances dans cette villa. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette villa, située dans un quartier calme avec une belle vue et pas trop loin des commodités. La villa est propre et très bien équipée, il y avait tout ce dont peut avoir besoin pour un agréable séjour. Nous avons profité de la piscine qui est très très bien orientée, grande et propre. Richard est très réactif et très à l'écoute, un grand merci pour tout. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille dans cette villa. le propriétaire a fait preuve de professionnalisme et a l'écoute. Un grand merci à Richard pour nous avoir accompagné pendant ce séjour. La villa est spacieuse,propre,moderne, et la cuisine est super avec tout l’équipement nécessaire. La villa est située dans un village au calme entre les montagnes et la mer en face. Je recommande cette villa pour toute personne à la recherche d'un séjour au calme et reposant avec en plus une magnifique piscine.

nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette endroit très calme le propriétaire est au top il est à l'écoute de nos besoins et très réactif. magnifique aménagement de la maison tout est à portée de main. dommage que ce soit trop loin de la plage et du centre ville véhicule indispensable. mais cela nous à permis de nous reposer et être vraiment au calme.

Net terug heerlijke vakantie in deze villa. Waren met 2 gezinnen. Contact met eigenaar super. Villa was schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien, heerlijk zwembad en prachtig uitzicht. Een aanrader. Heb alleen een loungeset of lekkere terrasstoelen gemist. Erg fijn dat na week hele villa wordt schoongemaakt en voorzien van nieuw beddengoed en handdoeken. Mooie omgeving, auto nodig. Fiets kan ook maar laatste stuk naar het huis aardige klim.
