"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"The Sun House is in a beautiful location on an inlet in Connemara, with gorgeous views of mountains and sea. The house is superbly designed and very comfortable . "

Debbie the owner lives adjacent to the cottage which made communication very easy and very help and assistance was to hand. "The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. There are electric blankets in the bed to help with the dampness. Not really sure if the water is drinkable. Martin the owner said it is but we...

"We were looking for a quiet place to unplug and unwind by the sea. Curlews was exactly that!It is a cozy, unassuming cottage with sea views from every window. Nothing fancy - just unbelievable beauty and privacy. We will be regulars I suspect!"

"Great location for a drive around Connemara, a visit to the Aran Islands and a day to Dog's Bay. One of the highlights was a close encounter with 3 cuckoos fighting over territory or a female. They called and circled for about an hour over the house. "

The house is gorgeous and spacious, it could definitely easily accommodate 10 or more people. The property owner was very responsive and friendly. "Maison non isolée.Le vent entrait dans la maison, 12c de chauffage 3C dehors, une seule chambre chauffée, couloir et toilettes à température extérieure pas d'eau chaude au 2ème jour, plus d'eau du tout le 3ème.
