    La propiedad tiene calefacción central de gasoil y comprende:
    Salón / comedor: con vigas de leña, TV de 32 "con canales Freeview, reproductor de DVD y CD / radio.
    Cocina: pequeña, con vigas eléctricas, nevera / congelador y lavaplatos.
    Lavadero: con lavadora / secadora.
    Baño: con ducha sobre bañera y WC. Primer piso:
    Empinadas, estrechas escaleras para ...
    Dormitorio 1: Con cama king size y techo inclinado.
    Dormitorio 2: con dos camas individuales y techo inclinado. Todo el aceite, eléctrico, ropa de cama y toallas incluidas. Suministro de combustible inicial para el quemador de madera, más disponible en la tienda local. Cuna de viaje y trona. Wifi.. Pequeño jardín privado cerrado con patio, muebles, barbacoa y espectaculares vistas. Tienda de bicicletas. Aparcamiento (2 coches). NB: Hay un total de 15 pasos para el jardín. . Esta encantadora casa de vacaciones independiente, construida en piedra, que data de 1800, está situada en el pueblo victoriano de Strathyre y se encuentra en la ubicación perfecta para explorar y disfrutar de Loch Lomond y el Parque Nacional Trossachs. Hay vistas espectaculares desde el jardín y la puerta principal, y puede caminar hasta la tienda del pueblo, el parque de juegos para niños, la ribera y el pub local, explorar infinitas millas de senderos forestales o unirse a la ruta ciclista de Callander a Killin. Los permisos de pesca para el río Balvaig están disponibles localmente y hay varios campos de golf a poca distancia en auto, Gleneagles está a solo 50 minutos. Tambi��n hay una pista de tenis local gratuita y servicio de alquiler de bicicletas a menos de 1 km del establecimiento. El área también es rica en historia escocesa con muchas historias relacionadas con Rob Roy Macgregor, cuya tumba se puede encontrar en el kirkyard en Baquhidder. A una corta distancia en automóvil se encuentra Stirling (45 minutos), donde puede visitar el Castillo de Stirling y el Monumento Wallace. Perth es de 1 hora, Glasgow y Edimburgo son 11/4 horas. Lovely cottage which made a great base and we would return.

Lovely cottage which made a great base and we would return.Good value and well equipped - particularly comfortable beds!Families with young children / pets should be aware that the cottage fronts onto the main road through the village so a bit of extra awareness is needed when entering/ existing the cottage.

The cottage was very warm and comfortable even when it was minus 4 degrees outside.

The cottage was very warm and comfortable even when it was minus 4 degrees outside. It is very well equipped and in a lovely small village. The local shop is very good and there are great walks straight from the door. The town of Callander is about a 10 minute drive away with a good selection of shops. We would love to come back.

Funktionales Cottage in guter geografischer Lage

Das Cottage hat uns alles bereitgestellt, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigt haben. Das Objekt ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Sauberkeit (speziell in der Küche) hätte besser sein können. Mit etwas putzen war dieser Makel aber schnell zu beheben. Die geografische Lage ist sehr gut, je nach dem, welche Gegend man bereisen will. Die Lage des Hauses selbst ist halt direkt an der Straße, die zumindest bei uns (meist am Wochenende ganz gut belebt war. Es gibt ein kleines Gärtchen, das aber über eine Treppe erklommen werden will.

We had a wonderful time on holiday in Craigdarroch cottage.

We had a wonderful time on holiday in Craigdarroch cottage. This was our second time staying in the cottage and as before we found it very comfortable in terms of heat (we could control the heating temperature) and equipment (nice couches to relax on and good cooking utensils). It had everything we needed within the cottage and has fantastic scenery surrounding it. We enjoyed many walks from the front door and loved coming back to the log burner and a glass of wine. The village also has a few places to eat and drink where we were always made most welcome. Looking forward to booking our next holiday in the cottage.

Lovely comfortable cottage in great location with stunning scenery.

Lovely comfortable cottage in great location with stunning scenery.Nice small garden to sit out in & gaze at the peaks. Cottage a little dark but that added to the character & it kept it cool as very humid outside. Yes it is on a busy road but that didn't bother us. Great to be able to park right outside the front door, especially for unloading/loading.

Prima vakantiewoning, qua vakantielocatie als qua equipment. Slechts enkele feitelijke aandachtspunten: huisje staat aan de hoofdweg, derhalve wat verkeersgeluid en de schuine wanden vd slaapkamers (vooral bij de deuren) kunnen voor lange mensen storend zijn.

Nice cosy cottage with very comfortable beds .

Nice cosy cottage with very comfortable beds . Loved Strathyre and the local friendly pubs. Had some good walks before the weather turned a little . Reading previous reviews was a bit concerned on main road (as we had a dog ). We only used back door and were never bothered by any road noise . Cottage was good value and very comfortable . Only small issues - bedrooms are very dark and not a fan of a bathroom downstairs (also the extractor was no use and probably needs a good clean). Other than that a great break ! Thank you.

We had a wonderful time in this cosy cottage.

We had a wonderful time in this cosy cottage. We found it very well equipped and a great place to relax after a day enjoying the numerous walks that can be taken straight from the front door. We cannot wait to return to this location and will definitely stay at this cottage again.
