We really liked how close we were to the tomahawk lake water park! Overall great stay worked out great for us. "

"The apartment was nice and the owner was very communicative. He confirmed that we were able to get into the apartment without any problems. The only downsides were a noisy upstairs neighbor and parking is not right there but both of those things are out of his control. "House was updated with modern amenities, bathrooms were equipped with toiletries, towels and even bottles of water, and there was plenty of space to enjoy a vacation at the lake. The bed was firm and comfortable, and there was extra linens and air mattress for the kids to have their own bed. Everyone had a great time! "

"A very welcoming cottage! When we walked in, there was a welcome sign with our name in addition to snacks. The refrigerator was stocked with both water and creamers for coffee, and there was coffee and tea, both available, which matters a lot to us! The accommodations were very bright and modern and clean. We loved sitting outside with our coffee in the morning. and we were grateful for the distraction of games for the younger ones. Would definitely stay here again."

"In August 2025 we had the perfect family vacation at the River House. My family of 9, ranging in age from 9 to 77, spent 5 nights in Joan’s beautiful house. I am in a wheelchair and have never stayed at a more handicapped accessible rental. "Overall it was a fantastic stay. Host was very communicative about property and where we can find anything that was needed. Plenty to do around the area and kept us busy for a week with the rain that came in. Recomend using a backpack luggage and it made the stairs easier to conquer!Just be prepared"
