  • Chwarel Goch Bach, (Red Cantera, en Inglés) originalmente una casa de campo fue construida hace más de 100yrs y es una casa cómoda y bien equipada, y el ala final de la casa del propietario. Consta de un dormitorio a través de una escalera abierta estrecha desde el acogedor salón, amplia cocina / comedor, gran porche y aseo con ducha. Es un entorno fantástico donde uno puede ser muy enérgico, escalada, montañismo, ciclismo, cayó corriendo ,, piscina de agua salvaje, o deambular tranquilamente, visitando propiedades del National Trust, castillos, y un sinnúmero de otros lugares de interés. Viaja en el Snowdon Mountain Railway, Welsh Highland férreas o Llanberis Lake Railway, tres de los grandes pequeños trenes de País de Gales, o simplemente relajarse con un libro y relajarse rodeado de algunas de las mejores vistas de Gales.

A very peaceful location on the edge of a village. Amazing views of Snowdon, Llyn Padarn and surrounding hills. You can even see the sea from the bedroom window.Great communication from the owner who came round to welcome us on our arrival.Great location to explore North Wales from. There is so much to do you will be spoiled for choice.Hope to stay again.

Warm, comfortable and amazing views

Joan is a very welcoming host and the cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. It is in a quiet location with the most amazing views

Comfortable and cosy

Overall excellent. Comfortable and cosy. Fantastic views of Snowdon and LLanberis. Elderly and people of poor mobility might have difficulty in accessing steep stairs to bedroom. Access lane very narrow. Reversing needed if meeting oncoming traffic.

The cottage is located in a nice area overlooking the lake Llanberis. Unfortunately the GPS led us somewhere else so we had to call the owner, Joan. The cottage is spacious, well equipped, we found everything we needed. The owner was very kind, helpful, she waited us with mince pies for Christmas and with a nicely decorated home. We were extremely lucky with the weather so we did walks in and around. The only negative thing we have to mention is that the radiators didn’t warm up the rooms properly so we had to use a heater, also the WIFI worked only for 2 days so we used our mobile network. In general we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!☺️

Best cottage in Snowdonia

Over the past few year, I've stayed in some cottages/chalets and this is the best one by far. Great view, great bed, great hosts great facilities. Recommended

Week in north Wales

A lovely holiday let in the hills with views down to the lake. The shower room is a little dated though. Otherwise is was great.

Great location

Ideal location for climbing and exploring North Wales. Good communication with the owners. Joan and Dennis were very nice and helpful. Cottage was comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed for a longer stay. I would definitely go back there again.

Distancing in North Wales

Just right for two, cosy with tremendous views. The owners had made sure that all precautions had been put in place re Coronavirus. A pleasure to use for a weeks break.

Christmas Get away

Both property and location were ideal for our requirement. the property was warm and cosy ,well laid out ,and very welcoming. This being the first time we have been away for Christmas ,we didn`t know what to expect, but the owners made it home from home, and decorated the place with Tree, and lovely home made decorations. The location is peaceful with amazing views, only five minutes from Llanberis ,and short journeys to Caernarfon etc . The owners were very welcoming and made us feel "at home", and we will hopefully being going again in the future ,to take in the surrounding walks.

A beautiful location with wonderful views, a quirky property that gets cosy once it's heated up. All the facilities that'd you'd need and very quiet.

Homely and comfortable

Lovely property, very well equipped and comfortable. Fabulous views across Llanberis lake and cottage is in a beautiful peaceful location. Joan & Dennis were so welcoming and the Welsh cakes a thoughtful touch. Open staircase is very narrow so wouldn't recommend if you have any mobility issues .

Wonderful stay with gorgeous views!

Lovely cute little cottage, cosy and ideal for a couple to stay at & Joan was very friendly and accommodating! The cottage had everything it needed! The bed was very nice to sleep in and the blanket was very warm! It’s somewhere great to rest your head after a busy day of mountain climbing and great adventures! Very close to Snowdon so not a far drive to get to where you need to be! The views from the window were incredible and really gives you a sense of the true beauty of the area. There was plenty of information available at the cottage, such as leaflets/pamphlets and a folder containing information about the local area and popular trails if you’re not sure where to start. Would love to come and visit again!

Lovely vacation spot

The object was well equipped. Especially the washing machine was of great use for us. We had some trouble with the wifi at first, but Joan and Dennis were helping us without saying and apart from that gave us good advice for our trips. At our arrival we were presented fresh self-made bara brith (cake) and fresh milk in the fridge. The object ist well above the lake opposite of Llanberis, so you walk some km and height, but that's part of the reason to travel to Wales, right!? In Llanberis (about 4km) you have a Spar store open from 7-23 and the next petrol station is near as well. Conclusion: If you want to spent some quit days with great view, that's your spot. If you want to explore Snowdonia and climb Mt. Snowdon, you have a great basecamp.
