This delightful detached holiday property is all on ground level and adjacent to the spectacular Aberglaslyn Pass, with the Welsh Highland Steam Railway running past. It lies just outside the popular village of Beddgelert, with its selection of pubs, restaurants and steam railway station and a stone’s throw from Aberglaslyn, with its riverside walks. Porthmadog, Betws-y-Coed and the beautiful Llyn Peninsula are all within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurants 440 yards.

Really lovely cottage with totally enclosed garden. Very useful when you have doggies coming on holiday with you. Fantastic location. Very central for all of North Wales/Snownia. Definitely a cottage to go back to. I highly recommend it.

A delightful cottage to stay in.

Absolutely cracking place to stay in Beddgelert. We were right beside a narrow gauge railway (The Welsh Highland Railway (WHR) or Rheilffordd Eryri) and had the River Glaslyn and the grave of Gelert on the other side. The one bedroom holiday cottage has a landscaped enclosed garden which is great for the dog, and also stops the sheep coming in. The cottage has got a woodburning stove, but also C.H. too which gets toasty inside pretty quickly. It has an dedicated integral laundry/drying room, which is a very handy piece of kit when you get back soaked from a walk in the countryside. The hosts Alison and Steve are a delightful couple, and are onsite if any help is required.

Met Alison the owner when we arrived who showed us around and was super friendly. Lovely welcome.

The property was just perfect for the two of us, small and cozy just what we wanted. It was in a perfect location for the hiking trips we had planned. Loved the place and hope to return again. Thank you Alison and Steve.

Really fantastic week here in Cil Y Felin.

Really fantastic week here in Cil Y Felin. The cottage itself is wonderful and the owners Steve, Allison and Floyd the dog are very welcoming yet unobtrusive. The garden was safely enclosed for our dog and a lovely place to sit in the sunshine with a gorgeous view of the mountains. We particularly love this area in Wales and the cottage is perfectly placed for access to both sea and mountains. We look forward to returning next year. Just returned from a brilliant week here. The hosts were fabulous, next door but bot intrusive and very friendly. Available for any help if needed. They had a lot of local knowledge having lived in Beddgelert for many years. My husband, myself and our chocolate lab had a wonderful, relaxing enjoyable week. Just what was needed. Cil Y Felin was the perfect base from which to explore so many areas of Snowdonia. The cottage is in easy walking distance of Beddgelert and there are plenty of other walks from the door. Inside, the cottage is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Allison and Steve were friendly and helpful, and always available if we needed anything. We had a wonderful week and would love to return in the future.
