Located at the top of the San Pedro neighborhood in beautiful Las Ventanas de Playa Grande. Casa 77 was completed in 2022 and is a contemporary, single-family home with plenty of space and all the modern conveniences you would expect to have during your vacation. You arrive and park in a shaded carport and step down to a sunny deck perfect for sunset gazing, bird watching or working on your tan. This space has a lounge area and firepit as well. Walk down some stairs and you arrive at the pool area and outdoor kitchen which separate the main house, and 2 private bedrooms set in the jungle. The home has 2000 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 -bathrooms all on one level. Each room boasts a private terrace and ensuite bath. This main area also includes a laundry room, and an open concept kitchen/living room. The main house offers a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, a living room with 65” Smart TV and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Best of all is the fantastic view of Tamarindo bay to the south, as well as a northwestern view of the Catalina Islands. This is one of the few properties in Las Ventanas de Playa Grande that offers this unique perspective.

This home is about one hour from the airport and located in the beautiful, gated community of Las Ventanas de Playa Grande. Conveniently located to the beach and all of Playa Grandes, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, shops, gym and local brewery, the community is known for having a fantastic location for everything you may want to make a memorable vacation. The beach towns of Tamarindo and Flamingo with its newly constructed Marina are just a short 20-minute drive. Don’t forget to ask our concierge about the secluded beaches of Piratas and Minas, both a short drive and hidden gems of the area.


Our guests receive a complimentary concierge service to help plan your stay with us. Take advantage of our local knowledge and experience to make your trip as seamless as possible. We are happy to assist with rental cars, airport transfers, tours/excursions throughout the country, private chef services, in-home spa treatments and anything else you may want or need. A Villa with great view, but bad circumstances.During our stay we had to deal with a very loud noice from a waterpump directly placed under the porch, so eating outside or open the windows by night was not a good idea. The housekeeping team could improve a lot, many cleaning problems. The kitchen chairs should be replaced, their fabrics is falling apart. That is not a style for a luxury villa. An overpayed stay!!!When the problems are solved future guests will find a better situation.The managers answers came quickly and correct, but he could not solve the noice problem (weekend, holiday)

Beautiful house!

We really enjoyed our seven nights at Casa 77. The management was prompt and efficient. The views and privacy were great. Location was convenient to both Playa Grande and Tamarindo. Highly recommended.

Flawless stay in Las Ventanas!

This home was perfect for our visit to Playa Grande. We were two adults and 3 children ages 16, 14, and 9. The views were flawless! Each morning I enjoyed my coffee on the outdoor patio overlooking the jungle and listening to the wildlife. Each of the three bedrooms are en suite and spacious. The open living space and large kitchen island were a dream. The pool was a bit smaller than the pictures would have you think but nonetheless provided a lot of fun and laughter for the kids. Marcelo handled our check in and could not have made things easier. Las Ventanas itself is as secure as communities can be in that area. One thing I would add (unless I missed it) is that the community has pickleball courts, a playground, and a large shared pool. We never saw anyone in the pool and it was perhaps a minute’s drive from our own driveway. The concierge provided great recommendations such as Pots & Bowls for meals and drinks and RipJack Hotel for a slightly elevated experience. Costa Ricans are warm and friendly! I took surf lessons with El Beach Club for 5 days and highly recommend. We would love to return! 10 out of 10!

Wonderful stay

This rental is so beautiful! It was perfect for our group of 6 adults. It has absolutely everything you’ll need. It was very clean and the views are amazing. Pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos but we still enjoyed everything to the fullest!

Stunning location with breathtaking views

This was our 3rd stay in Playa Grande and Keith's home was a great place to call home base. It was clean and comfortable for the two of us. We spent every morning drinking coffee outside looking at the ocean and every evening taking a dip in the pool also looking at the ocean. There is not a bad view on this property. It's an interesting set up for groups larger than ours with two private bedrooms separate from the main house. One thing to note, in rainy season we were not able to use the amazing outdoor grill as the overhang of the house does not extend over the patio area enough to provide protection from the rain. This didn't really impact our stay and we actually enjoyed the rainy season. Pura vida!
