    Beach life: Living on the Beach is a beautiful experience, different from the countryside or city. This property is on the Northwest Coast of the Island of Puerto Rico, where a constant breeze comes from the ocean to the land at speeds of 10-20 miles per hour. This wind contains a high concentration of salt and fine sand. As a result of these weather conditions, you can expect to find sticky surfaces, slippery floors, stained window glass, traces of moisture or salt in the fans or air conditioners, and any other slippery or moist surfaces. Traces of rust in appliances and other metal components are also typical. We clean this property after every check-out. On the day of a new check-in, we do a quick inspection and retouch surfaces if needed before guests arrive; however, it is impossible to maintain the areas spotless because of this weather. These conditions vary by the location of the property and by position within the apartment complex. If you book multiple apartments on the same property, you may experience different scenarios.



    Local Beaches: Puerto Rico has a great diversity of beaches. Beaches on the North and East side of the Island are often wavy. The South and west coasts stay calm most of the year. Always be cautious when entering a body of water. Be aware of the swell conditions and stay away from the Beach if the waves are big. Recommended Beaches: Boquerón, Buyé, Combate, and, if you feel adventurous, Los Pozos.



    Note about bugs: Puerto Rico is a Tropical Island with a great diversity of bugs. We spray our apartments every month, but there is a high possibility that you will run into bugs on the property, especially during nighttime. Changes in yethe weather, like rain or temperature, can also make bugs enter the Apartment. Bug encounters may vary from one property to another, but it is unpredictable.



    Note about wildlife: Puerto Rico has no dangerous species; however, you can run into Iguanas, rodents, stray dogs, or cats. If you run into wild or stray animals, do not pet them, or feed them. They may not be friendly.



    Storm / Hurricane season: The official hurricane season in Puerto Rico is from June 1st to November 30th. We strongly suggest that all future guests get travel insurance, especially during hurricane season. We will not offer last-minute refunds due to storms or rain unless it is a big event that affects the Island’s utilities. We could make an exception if the power and water supply are interrupted for over 24 hours.



    Utilities (water and electricity) in Puerto Rico are reasonably stable; however, we can have some isolated interruptions during the year. We will consider offering a refund if the interruption lasts over 24 hours. A 25% discount will be applied to the nightly rate of each night spent without a utility. The discount will be prorated by the hours affected. We will not provide any refunds or discounts for internet-related issues.



    Swimming Pool: Your rental does not guarantee the use of the Swimming Pool. The pool is often open during pool hours, but sometimes it needs extra care. If the pool is closed for maintenance or other reason, please be kind to the Condominium’s staff. You may ask them when it will reopen, and they’ll provide any available information. There will be no discount if you cannot use the pool during your stay.



    All the units have different owners. We provide the units fully equipped. Items such as towels, pots, and pans, among others, must be returned to the Apartment to which it belongs. We will not likely receive our misplaced items back.



    Please take good care of the property. We put lots of effort and money into providing an excellent experience for our guests. We understand the difference between normal wear and tear and property damage. Makeup stains or any other permanent stain are not considered normal wear and tear. We will charge the guests the replacement cost of damaged or missing goods such as towels, furniture, decoration, kitchenware, or any other lost or damaged component.



    Housekeeping Note:

    The cleaning fee does not include the following services:

    • Trash disposal ($10.00 charge)

    • Washing the dishes ($20.00 charge)

    • BBQ Cleaning ($25 charge)

This place was gorgeous. Spacious enjoyment for a family of 6, could easily accommodate 11 or 12 people. Separated spaces for when you want space from the noisy kids, or if you have guests on different sleep schedules.Host was very attentive to the few issues we had while down there (getting into the pool, finding the lockbox upon arrival, having the power go down for half a day). Would definitely stay again if we return to the area, and would recommend to others. 10/10.

Family Christmas Trip

Great unit, clean and as described. We rented two condos in the same complex for our big group. Nine stayed comfortably in this unit with tons of space. Gated community with nice landscaping and had Christmas decorations. Rooms were comfortable and unit included kitchen appliances and dishes (could use more bowls), air conditioning throughout, washer/dryer, and beach towels. Second floor game room and decks were amazing (pool table, video game, card table, grill and lounge chairs. Pool area had shaded gazebo with tables, clean bathrooms and friendly neighbors. Bakery across the street for breakfast sandwiches or sweets. Bar/restaurant, pharmacy and liquor outlet also right outside the complex. 20 minute walk to the Poblado (vendors, food stands, bars, restaurants, etc.). We explored the West coast from here - great location. Buye Beach was beautiful with vendors and parking and restaurants (15 min drive). Aguadilla has many sites/picture opportunities and lovely wide beaches and beachfront restaurants (1 hr drive). La Parguera has the bioluminescent bay. The bioluminescence was not very bright (maybe because of the time of year) but the boat ride and swimming in the dark were lovely (25 min drive). Also did ziplining at ToroVerde. The ziplining was amazing over a large ravine and river in beautiful tree covered mountains, but the drive up there was it's own terrifying adventure - make sure you are comfortable driving on winding mountainside roads. (2.5 hr drive)
