Peró beach is located in the district of Peró in the city of Cabo Frio, in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro.

With 7.2 kilometers of extension, it is appreciated for the practice of surfing and other nautical sports. It has crystalline waters and was pointed out, through analysis made by the former FEEMA, current Inea, as the cleanest of the Lakes Region. The beach is located west of the center of Cabo Frio, along the Dunes of Peró, which has a rich ecosystem with endemic species, and next to Serra das Emerências, where there is the largest niche of Brazil wood from the State of River. The beach is an integral part of the Costa do Sol State Park and the Pau-Brasil Environmental Protection Area. Of its 7,2 kilometers of extension, only less than 1 kilometer is urbanized, being the rest preserved with restinga vegetation. In the urban center there are two shopping malls and the Moinho Square, main point of concentration of tourists. The district of Peró has the best residential condominiums of Cabo Frio and the best prices of this county. About 90% of the streets in Peró are paved and have water from ProLagos. Peró's buildings are only allowed on two floors, thus contributing to a fresh and excellent visibility, nothing preventing the circulation of the wind to make the Peró a hot neighborhood, and its temperature in the heat of summer hardly exceeds 30 degrees.
