- Perfectly located for those who love nature and want to explore the surrounding countryside on foot, or on two wheels, leave your car at the cottage and enjoy the amazing walks from the doorstep. Nearby, Tittesworth Reservoir is situated in superb scenery, has a wonderful children's playground and visitors centre, and is a delight for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers. Also within easy reach are Matlock Bath and Carsington Water, while slightly further afield is the market town of Ashbourne. Also, nearby, the Manifold Trail, while golf, horse riding, cycling and sailing are all available within a short drive. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit the impressive Chatsworth House and the historic town of Buxton. There are an array of country pubs to try within a short drive to save cooking after a long day hiking the hills.
Despite the property being a former hay loft and located up a flight of stairs, there is a handy wheelchair lift giving access to the first floor which is great for heavy luggage too. Located at the end of the loft is a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasting floor to ceiling windows for you to enjoy those views. The well-equipped kitchen is a great space to prepare a meal with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. The dining table is placed next to the window, so you can not only enjoy your family meal, but you can enjoy the views as well. Heading to the lounge area you will find comfy seating and TV, the perfect place to relax and watch your favourite movie whilst keeping warm in front on the wood burner on those cooler evenings. When you are ready for bed, head to the double bedroom with en-suite wet room or the stylish single bedroom. Completing the accommodation is the contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Heading outside there is an array of seating areas in different spots, so choose your place and take in the far-reaching views, there is even a charcoal BBQ if you fancy dining alfresco in the Mediterranean styled garden.
