"The host was easy to work with. Early on before booking I had some questions as there was confusion about how many bedrooms and beds in the actual listing, but he clarified that and that was completely accurate. we were happy with the house, patio and pier with a great view of the lake which was on a peninsula, so there was very little boat traffic. The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of dishes, pots and pans, crockpot etc. It was great to have two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom did have a...

"We were provided zero communication with the check in process until we reached out, still had to clarify which cabin we were in. Owners were kind enough to allow us to check in early to attend family functions. TV did not work, was not provided wash cloths, no oven mitts provided, and cobwebs galore over the entire walls. Warm water in the shower ran out after 10 mins. Appreciate providing a coffee maker, utensils, plates, and working appliances, a/c, heat, bedding, pillows, and decent space."

"My wife and I stayed at Callahan’s Shore Thing cabin for a quick stay to celebrate our anniversary! It was perfect. The hosts were amazing with their communication and the cabin itself is perfect. The photos and descriptions are accurate but undersell how great the location is. The proximity to the water and the peaceful setting can’t be described. The Musky Lounge is perfect. "Arrival was rough: the address listed on VRBO was wrong, leading us to the neighboring property to the north (which has two cabins) at 11pm. I walked into one before realizing it wasn't ours. The property manager was nice and called back, but didn't realize the address was wrong. He guided us by phone through spotty cell service to the correct house to the south (actual address 8696), which was hard to find in the dark due to a split driveway. There were only 4 towels for an 12-person property,...
