Nestled in the heart of Amish country, this charming cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway at the lake. Enjoy both sunrises and sunsets from two north facing patios complete with hot tub. The home features an unobstructed view of Long Lake.

Two large trees in the yard create ample shade, and the lawn provides lots of space for your favorite lawn games. The yard has a nice, gentle slope to the lake, where the breakwall leads to the lake's sandy bottom. The water is shallow more than 20 feet out, perfect for floating and relaxing.

The spacious all season room has three sliding doors, providing tons of light and lake view. The eat-in kitchen has many new items, including microwave, pots and pans and other small appliances. The living room opens to a small porch with a table, perfect for having your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. A wall of windows in the living room features the backyard trees and the lake. The gas fireplace is operational - perfect for cool evenings.

The two bedrooms sleep 5. The primary has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has a twin over a double bunk bed. There is a new sleeper sofa in the living room that sleeps two additional guests. All linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided.

We offer a dock with boat tie-downs - bring your boat! Public access to the lake is just 7 minutes from the home.

Long Lake is situated in southwest Michigan, with lots of activities nearby. The Magic Capital of the World, Colon, MI is just minutes away! Many Amish shops and bakeries are a short drive away, and Shipshawana, IN is only 45 minutes from the house. Multiple wineries within an hour. Other nearby outdoor activities include boating, biking, hiking and downhill skiing. Bring your Jeep or other off-road vehicle to the off-road dirt track.
