    A memorable vacation away from it all awaits at this unique cabin in the woods! Surrounded by serene foliage, beautiful property, and the winding river, there will be no delay in getting some much-needed rest and rejuvenation. Wake up each morning and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee on the wrap-around patio as you plan a full day of fun for the whole gang. Come summer, the private pool will be the hub for lounging in the sun and taking a dip in the refreshing water. When evenings come to a close, the fun won't stop, as the stunning brick fireplace will create a cozy ambiance for all to enjoy as the chef of the group whips up something tasty in the fully equipped kitchen. Don't worry about having to leave the furry member of the family at home because this getaway is dog-friendly!

    What's nearby:
    Sitting in the wonderful community of Trinity Village, you will have the perfect combination of seclusion while having a plethora of activities right at your fingertips. Trinity River runs right by the property, so fishing, taking a quick dip, or simply watching the water flow by will be a breeze. When you want to venture out a bit, you can easily head out to Willow Creek (11 miles) and grab a bite to eat from Bigfoot Steakhouse or a coffee from Espresso & More.

Pros:Overall great place to stay. Close to the river, views are amazing and cabin was comfortable.Con:We did not have the key to access river as advertised, river access is available by vehicle and foot, but if you have someone with limited mobility or senior it makes it hard to walk the very long and steep dirt road.We bought food for grilling but grill is old and did not go over 200 degrees making it useless.We would however recommend it, just need those two key factors addressed

The air conditioner worked ok in the morning but could not keep up with the very hot weather in the afternoon. There was a time when the interior was 90 degrees and only cooled to 85 by 9 pm. Though the house and pool are great, the AC made staying there a challenge. We stayed in early June. I can’t imagine how bad it would get in July.

Merryman Cabin was a delight. Very comfortable and lots to see and do near by. We were so busy exploring the river I just wish I had more time to stay in the cabin. I absolutely hope to get the chance to stay again. Thank you for hosting such a beautiful place

Merryman Cabin was fantastic

This a great place to stay with friends or family for the weekend. The design of the house and backyard are perfect for entertaining. Very clean and had everything we needed. The decorating was great inside.

The cabin is a hidden gem. The pool was clean and refreshing. There were many deer around the cabin that visited daily. The entire family truly enjoyed our stay.

The house has a great layout, central hexagon living room/kitchen/dining, with the fireplace central and two wings of bedrooms. The patio/pool is right off the living room and there's 7 sliding glass doors out to the pool area. Really a great vibe. The house management team is fairly quickly responsive with problems. My major complaint was a bug we found, which they remedied fairly quickly and that there was zero cling wrap, tin foil or plastic bags to wrap leftovers and we had a hard time figuring out the best way to get to the river, but ultimately drove down in a car. Overall, great house and location and we had a quiet, relaxing time for the most part.

Comfortable clean and a pool!

This home is a gem. Beautiful furnishings and comfortable. By far one of the nicest rentals I’ve ever stayed in! And amazingly affordable! I’ll return as soon as I can. Wonderful stay

Great get away

This is a great house to sharing with family and friends. It has a great kitchen and plenty of indoor and outdoor dining. We had a fun time in the pool and the river was pretty close too. I would recommend this house to others.

Amazing House!

We loved our stay at this house! It was a little hard to find in the dark since there's no address posted, but other than that everything was wonderful! We're looking forward to staying again next summer when we come back 😊
