"Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at...

"This VRBO has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Connecticut. The view and relaxing patio overlook paddlers on the Farmington River. The beds are comfortable and the furnishing are very pleasant. The little village of Collinsville provides wonderful trails to stroll. Several restaurants and music venues were fun, but the Farmer's Market on Sundays in the summer is not to miss. Carol, the host, lives next door, and can be reached easily. "We do not drop poor reviews lightly. We rented a two unit house for 5 nights for 3,000. Out confirmation said we would have the place to ourselves. Instead, we had noisy construction crews on site, without any warning. When we complained and specifically asked that no one be on site for the remainder of our stay, the host agreed. That is not what happened. The crews showed up daily, sawing through brick and mortar in what appeared to be an addition. This all happened right outside our door,...

"We really enjoyed our stay and the check-in/out process was easy. The location, decor, and parking were great. We were very grateful there wasn’t a list of cleaning or chores to do before we left. I don’t know if this is the best property for elderly people. The stairs are hard to navigate and don’t have a bannister all the way up, the rugs and thresholds between rooms are tripping hazards, the floors slant, and the level of the bottom of the tub is lower than then floor. These are all things...
