"Beautiful old home in the heart of Harper’s Ferry. Location cannot be beat. Outstanding views of the rivers from the backyard. The steps, inside and out, are no joke. And the AC only works well in one bedroom. But, all in all. We would go back. Very responsive hosts! "

"This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. "

"We stayed 2 nights in early August at this cute location. It had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Host was very prompt with answering texts, and the cabin was clean and well stocked to prepare breakfast. We will certainly be back! "

"Beautiful home in a quiet area. There were lots of things to do within a short drive. We checked out cute local shops. There were also many stands selling local produce. It was a fun but relaxing trip. "

"This home was absolutely fantastic! Very clean, very close to all things. We had a fantastic time."

"Perfect place to stay in Harper’s Ferry. Cottage is exactly as pictured nestled on a quiet street. Very clean , comfortable and beautifully decorated. The fenced yard was large and the perfect area for the dog to run in. The hosts were pleasant and responsive."

"It is a charming home with all of the character you look for in a place over 100 years old. Howe is amazing and always tries to make the place comfortable"

"Wonderful house on a lovely, quiet street. Immaculately clean. Great communication; easy check in, check out. House has many upgrades including modern bathrooms, kitchen with everything you need and plenty of extras. - games, books, etc. Beds are comfortable; bedrooms nicely decorated with historical features; lovely porch and back yard. Deer walking by in the morning. Walkable to town and great restaurants. Thank you! Would definitely stay here again."

"Our weekend cabin stay was wonderful. The safe neighborhood was quite and peaceful. Its location near nature and the city was just perfect. The cozy cabin was clean and comfy. We loved Gambrill State Park and downtown Frederick didn't disappoint as well."

"Location, location, location! Convenient, clean, cozy, well-equipped, wonderful view from a very comfortable porch.Great hospitality by the owners - a nice welcome, juices, water, coffee, and delicious scones."

"Love this place! Clean, off the road a little, quiet area. She definitely made a smaller house feel like there’s a bit of room! Comfy king bed in one room (the other room had a queen bed which my son slept on). Nice size comfortable couch for the living room. "

"The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools."

"We stayed here for spring break and our kids loved it. They enjoyed the pool and making s’mores at the firepit so much. It’s a great location. We would definitely return. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. It had the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on in a rental house! Our kids are still talking about this house and our spring break trip. "

"Beautiful property, as advertised, and stocked well with the extras. The whole family enjoyed the stay. So much to do around that we didn't get to do and we will likely be back to this rental again! Definitely recommend for a family or group trip."
