"This is a great, cozy, unpretentious property that delivered everything that my 2 teens and I needed. Rooms are small and bathroom was tiny, but served us OK. There is daily housekeeping which is a rarity now. It is across 1 from Heisler Park and walking distance to most good beaches in Laguna. Can't beat parking. They had towels, chairs, mats and boogie boards to borrow. Staff/owners veryavailable and helpful. 100% will return."

"The hotel room was very nice. The location was outstanding. Sal, the owner, was so nice and personable. We will definitely stay there again. I love the fact that you can take the trolley to the Pageant of the Masters, only a block away and down a little hill. The only thing I wish they had was a full length mirror in the room."

"A beautiful historic hotel just steps from the beach and walking distance to everything you need. The room was a surf suite, custom decorated, which was lovely but a bit overdone with furniture which made it a little crowded. The design seemed to be more important than functionality in the room we were in. The staff was amazing, and parking is a rare find, and convenient. We can’t wait to return."

"Disappointed that the hotel really didn't fit the pics on the website. Our king room was cramped and pretty average at best. We've been coming to Laguna for years and this hotel has always been busy and we always stayed across the street until that hotel was closed and renovated after the sale. The location is great and parking is ample and free are pluses. Not much else. Not coming back but it was OK."

"My husband and I had an absolutely miserable experience with the staff at Woods Cove Inn. We have never left a negative hotel review before, but after the amount of stress and financial hardship this situation has caused us, and the complete lack of care we received in return, we feel obligated to warn others. It took more than 48 hours and multiple attempts to finally get a manager to call us back. The staff members we spoke with were incredibly rude. We were repeatedly talked over, had voices...

"Save you money. This place is a dump. Run down and smelly and old. More like a hostel hit spent nearly $800 for an ocean view room that was a joke. The bathroom gross, the AC barely worked, the curtains broken. They are demolishing in September so that’s why they don’t care."
