"Our stay at the lodge was perfect. The house is so spacious that our family of 12 had plenty of space. We so enjoyed the free kayaks and other water toys! It is a stunning lake with lots to do close by. Make sure you rent the golf cart as the hill to the house is a tough one to walk."

"We had a great experience! The hosts thought of everything!! We were staying for the weekend for our son’s wedding close by and it was fantastic to be able to visit with family and enjoy it! Everything was clean and they go a step above more than most!! Loved the coffee and all of the “extras!” Thank you! Definitely recommend!"

"Absolutely beautiful property and the cabin felt like a home. Had all of the necessities in case you forgot something. The atmosphere of the home, back porch and pool area were all magnificent. We had additional family to visit and they were very impressed with the property and ambiance as well. Thank you for the beautiful home for the few days we were there"

"Perfect location for our needs this trip. Great property. Medical note: the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs. So elderly or arthritic guests will need to exercise care during nighttime bathroom visits. We are both, but we managed. Don’t let it discourage you from enjoying this property. Just fyi."

"Our stay was wonderful. Nature all around us. The cabin was very well equipped. Nothing we can thing of was missing. Shower room has everything short of a toothbrush. :) Kitchen has a bar area that seats 4. Coffee/Kuerig combination that also dispenses hot and cold water. Big smart TV in living area. Check in was super easy. An access code is sent and it works well. For nature lovers - we were very amused by all the hummingbirds chasing each other around. "

"Our family had a wonderful time during our stay this past weekend. We stayed four days and we were able to get around to where we needed to fairly quickly. The villa is beautiful and picturesque with the lake and forest views. Josh was awesome and was very responsive with updates and requests we had while there. 10/10 recommend!"

"Great location. Roomy, well-appointed home. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of clean linens and towels. Beautiful water views. This was a quick, two-day trip to check out the Douglas Lake area. Everyone in our group of 10 agreed we’d like to come for a longer visit. Thank you for the excellent stay!"

"This was our sixth stay in this house and is our favorite place to stay. We go on a family vacation every year and have stayed in different houses but once we found this one we felt like we were home. The house is spacious and everyone can have both their personally space and space to gather together. The lake is at a perfect angle to walk in or jump off the dock and there is plenty of room for the boat. The property manager Amy is wonderful anytime we needed to talk with her she was available."
