"This property was absolutely amazing! The staff was over-the-top with their friendliness, hospitality, and service! A pool side plate of nachos was served with white linen service. We ate several dinners there and everyone in our family thought it was the best meal of our trip!! Portions were generous as well. Excursions arranged through the hotel were on point and competitive with other excursions booked elsewhere. The hotel itself was a piece of art with all the mahogany and wood finishes....

"This was the adventure we were hoping for! We visited with our teens (14 and 16). It is such a beautiful location and we really enjoyed seeing wildlife up close! We saw agouti, river otters, howler monkeys, bats, toucans, and several other beautiful birds during our stay. The rope swing and being able to get in the river was very nice. Mike and the ladies at Cohune are so nice! Mike is very knowledgeable about the area and is happy to share. The food was also amazing! Highly recommend breakfast...

"Mike and Melanie make you feel part of the family. They always make sure you are having a good time and are willing to help make your experience better. The tranquil setting of the jungle cabanas was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. Also, coming back from a day of excursions to Melanie’s amazing home cooked meals was the perfect way to end the day."

"We definitely recommend this property. Beautiful grounds! So many tropical plants everywhere. You are literally in the jungle. Taking a nap on the porch hammock was so relaxing. The house iself is clean and cozy. It is perfect for a family of 4. Location is great. Close to restaurants and shops (10 mins from San Ignacio). Not a far drive from Mayan Ruins. Only 2 hours from Caracol. And also Kate was very responsive if you need anything."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Mahogany Hall. The staff is incredibly friendly, the view of the river is incredible and the accommodations are lovely. If you don’t mind a short drive into San Ignacio, the tranquility of this place is ideal. It’s off the beaten path and yet still close enough that all four of our tours picked us up at the hotel. Highly recommend!"

"Beautiful property within a community still being built. This is going to be a fantastic development when fully finished. You definitely will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access it (especially in the rainy season). Comfy beds and pillows, cool A/C, lovely pool, beautiful views, all the comforts of home away from home. Stay here, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!!!"

"The house was beautiful. The view as soon as you walk in the front door was better than the pictures could do justice. Communication was a 10 on a 5 scale. I cant say enough about how fast, informative and amazing all communication was."

"Absolutely the best spot! Area was safe and easily accessible by car to all places Authentic Flavors restaurants was by far our favorite place to eat and walking distance from this rental! Morning parrots and iguanas and even saw a horned beetle!!! "
