"This was the adventure we were hoping for! We visited with our teens (14 and 16). It is such a beautiful location and we really enjoyed seeing wildlife up close! We saw agouti, river otters, howler monkeys, bats, toucans, and several other beautiful birds during our stay. The rope swing and being able to get in the river was very nice. Mike and the ladies at Cohune are so nice! Mike is very knowledgeable about the area and is happy to share. The food was also amazing! Highly recommend breakfast...

The tranquil setting of the jungle cabanas was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. "We definitely recommend this property. Beautiful grounds! So many tropical plants everywhere. You are literally in the jungle. Taking a nap on the porch hammock was so relaxing. The house iself is clean and cozy. It is perfect for a family of 4. Location is great. Close to restaurants and shops (10 mins from San Ignacio). Not a far drive from Mayan Ruins. Only 2 hours from Caracol. And also Kate was very responsive if you need anything."

"Our family loves this beautiful hotel. July 2025 was our 2nd stay here. July 2021 was our prior visit. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. The hotel setting on the Mopan River is incredible and perfect for swimming. Beautiful view for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. It's convenient to get to San Ignacio from Bullet Tree Village via taxi so location is ideal. The staff at Mahogany Hall did everything they could to make our visit as pleasant as possible. We really appreciate it !"

You definitely will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access it (especially in the rainy season).
