Tucked away in a quiet side alley just steps from Lyabi Khause Square, Alexia Hotel is a charming boutique property that strikes a thoughtful balance between luxurious comfort and personalized hospitality.
The service has a warm, personal touch — staff always greeted me upon entering and said “have a good day” as I left. It’s the kind of genuine hospitality that makes a stay memorable. The hotel itself is housed in a beautiful historic building, with intricate tilework and the ancient Islamic architecture that brings the spirit of old Bukhara into your private space — all while offering modern amenities.
My room was spacious and tastefully furnished, available in both one or two bed configurations. It featured a large desk, two comfortable armchairs, and a spacious bathroom equipped with both shower and a tub. The shower was clean and stocked with premium toiletries.
The only downsides: the hotel is priced higher than average for Bukhara. Additionally, during my stay, the Wi-Fi went out for 3–4 hours due to construction next door, and cellular reception in the room was poor.
Overall, Alexia Hotel remains an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, character, and personal service in the heart of Bukhara.
