"A beautiful charming home with many extras. It was our home away from home for our weekend at Colonial Williamsburg. It has plenty of room and many extras, my wife and I like playing pool and the pool table was a big bonus. We spent many hours at Colonial Williamsburg and enjoying the area with our Corgi. "We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. "The property manager contacted us as expected and check in was easy. Inside and outside, the home was nothing as advertised. Nails sticking out of the walls, dishwasher not attached so it falls out when you pull out the rack; old cars, broken chairs, lawnmowers, old pool, old jacuzzi, a winebego, a boat and toilet seat all strewn around the yard. "Key Cottage was charming and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were standout fabulous - modern, great water pressure, and spacious. The house is well stocked with just about anything you can imagine needing. We loved the location, on a quiet corner in the cute village of Irvington with so much to walk to and do. The only problem we had was getting into the lockbox when we arrived, but they arranged for someone to run down and help us out. "

"This place provided the peace and refreshment that we needed. Fishing fun on the dock (biggest fish caught was almost 8 pounds!), a great place to kayak, and endless indoor entertainment for the rainy days (pool, air hockey, video games, giant Jenga). "This was a perfect place for our purposes. Lenny and Vicki were very attentive. They came out to speak with us. Explained everything about our stay. The place was close to a lot of things. Food was great in the area."

"The house is older. There are several weird step ups in the house and none of us left without having stubbed our toes multiple times. The house was clean but could definitely use a deep clean sometime. It would not be ideal for the elderly and is not handicap accessible at all. The yard was great though very big and the views from the beach were very nice. The location is perfect if Yorktown, Jamestown and Williamsburg are where you are visiting. We had some water issues and the property manager was quick to respond and very helpful. She even brought us some water til everything was resolved.
