Deer haven

The house is beautiful inside and out. Loved the front porch, each morning and night we had a family of 3 deer come by and eat. Also a very friendly feline came by and said hi. The interior was so spacious, the artwork was very nice. The bedrooms were great and the beds very comfy. Loved the showers in each bedroom. I absolutely loved the kitchen and studio lighting. Would stay again and I’ll tell others about this home. Debi

Great place a block from main street, new construction

My wife and adult daughter came up for a winter BV weekend, snowshoeing, hot springs (Cottonwood). We've been renting places in BV two or three times a year for 15 years (should have bought, huh?). This is a great place. Really conveniently located, easy walking distance to Main St and a minute or two by car to the river and South Main. The place is newly constructed, and everything is excellent quality and thoughtfully laid out. Easy convenient parking out front. Lots of space with two nice bedrooms, each with it's own modern bathroom and shower, plus a powder room in the large open room that serves as entry, living room and kitchen. Everything is clean, works well and of excellent quality, including the kitchen, which is well-appointed and has much nicer, newer appliances than I have at home. Will definitely check this place first next time we come to BV.

EXCELLENT!!

Autumn in BV

Lived in the Valley 65 years but we live in Tucson now. Perfect place to escape the heat, enjoy the changing aspens, eat in the BV restaurants, coffee and fresh baked goods in The Roastery each morning, fishing, and a family wedding in the mountains. Great location to walk around town. Many thoughtful touches and streaming TV. Nice!

AMAZING STAY IN BUENA VISTA

Finally - a VRBO whose pictures are spot on. Everything about this lovely place was beyond perfect and totally first class. Comfortable beds - great location (you can walk everywhere) and loved the fact that the owner was so accessible and responsive! Definitely a go to if you visit Buena Vista!!!!

Beautiful house but...

The house is very spacious. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked. The bathrooms have huge showers. BUT the beds are not comfortable, hard to get good nights sleep. And room for king instead of queen.

Great home base for outdoor adventures in Arkansas Valley!

Lovely modern home within walking distance of downtown Buena Vista - what a great place to stay while enjoying the outdoors from Leadville down to Salida. We hiked and fished during the day, walked downtown for happy hour, and both enjoyed the local restaurants and cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. Look forward to coming back next summer!

Loved hanging out in the lovely clean comfortable remodeled home. Top of the line appliances, beds, pillows and furniture! 2 patios to enjoy the property landscaping and relax in the morning and afternoon sun. Quiet area and walking distance to all of Buena Vista!

Buena Vista Home Visit

Overall was a good property. Nice location with easy walking access to a park and downtown. There is detached garage/apartment with another unit on the backside of the property that shares an outdoor area. We were not aware of this when booking but it was not an issue for our stay. The indoor living space is large a can accommodate a family easily. Kitchen is great with all of the amenities needed to cook meals. We did have some issues with the cleanliness of the place. In general is was clean, but in the bathroom we noticed hair left in/on the toilet and some of the face towels were bleached and stained. The rugs (and there are many) are vacuumed but definitely not clean and seemed to hold a lot of dirt. They are Ruggable brand washable rugs so I highly recommend running these through the wash after every visit. Taking everything into account, the house was good and had no major issues.

Buena Vista stay to help son move
