"Loved the location. Felt isolated, but close to highway access and all the near major towns. Lots of cutlery and kitchen options including blender, oyster shucker, and BBQ. Patio had seating for all. Separate bedroom for the kids with their own bathroom on their own floor was a lifesaver for any parent. As a parent, the washer and dryer was a huge help. "Clean, bright, compact space overlooking the ocean with lots of opportunities for out door seating. Very quiet and very private so lovely to spend some R&R time. One day spent on Hornby Island and another day in Courtenay.Morning Beach walk on the Island just gorgeous.l"

"The place was more spacious than expected and we received a warm welcome from Trish when we arrived. She provided a nice little touch with chocolates on the pillow, extra beach towels, tea bag, coffee and hot chocolate. We just didn't like the mattress, too soft for our taste but tastes differ."

"My wife and I lived our stay at the Bigfoot Bungalow! The cabin was small, but felt spacious with the impressive craftsmanship and layout. We would definitely reccomend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat on the Island!"

"Wonderful stay at this location , Tom was truly an excellent host and has a perfect home for our annual trip to the island. the home had everything we needed to accommodate a larger group size and plenty of space for us to organize our day field trips. The hot tub was certainly most welcome after long days along with the patio and propane fire place. Tom really cares about the wellbeing of his guests and goes above and beyond to provide a good experience. hands down the best trip ever...
