The pool in the property overlooks a slight hill so it makes for a nice touch. We felt very safe and the place is in a very quiet and serene area. "I stayed at Fish Tobago for over a week and completely enjoyed my stay. It is simple but very clean, great location to walk to the beaches or to the jetty. Brendon couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. I also really enjoyed the boat tours offered by the hotel. The guest house is in a peaceful and safe location with lots of greenery and giant mango trees. Very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend ."

"I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I arrived around 6 PM and almost everything was already closed, which was frustrating after a long day of traveling. The gift shop was supposed to open the next day, but it never did, leaving guests with no place to even grab basic necessities. The food was honestly terrible and the menu options were extremely limited. On top of that, most of the staff outside of the front desk were not helpful or welcoming at all. "The staff was great. The premises needs a severe renovation. Mold in the bathroom, hard to get ice if the kitchen isn't open (even when it is), I could see the mattress through the very thin bed sheets, lots of rust everywhere, difficult to get the TV to work, phone cord was broken (when was the last tome someone was in that room). I felt mislead based on the pictures on Expedia. "

"The property and room were really clean. Water pressure was high, AC worked perfectly. Exactly as advertised. You can hear the ocean while in the pool. Mark checked us in and gave excellent service, facilitating a late checkout. Will definitely stay again. "

"Candles in the Wind...Thank you for a comfortable stay. Very warm host Andrew. Quiet residential area. Clean environment. Ac, hot and cold shower, TV, closet, 2 beds and table. Close proximity to beaches and places to eat. Safe environment. We paid USD 75 for one night however our host mentioned he usually has rooms way more affordable average USD35 but due to Carnival he was booked out. Highly recommend ."

"From the time we got there we was having probleming flashing the toilet and it got worst as the time when by . We went out for the day and came back to light flckering ,gate not opening ,and the other gate was locked and we had no keys to open the gate . The bedroom door got lock no keys to open the door. We were expecting to call every time something went wrong. They have to do better when ppl are paying their money for a place to stay. "

"Avoid Tropikist — it does not deliver on its promises. From the moment we arrived, things went wrong. We were checked into the wrong room, and when we flagged this with the front desk, staff were unhelpful and showed no urgency in resolving the issue. The correct room was not provided until the following evening. The rooms are dated, unclean and poorly maintained — not what you expect when paying for a beachfront hotel. "It was an okay stay. Wifi did not work so I had to leave the resort to actually work on my laptop. Not very many dining options except for the Waves restaurant. No telephone in my room. When asked at the front desk the agent said she did not know why. Property needs some updating. Once updated I might visit again."

"The beach view was excellent! However, the staff was poor, I think mostly not trained well…. Upon checking, we received no information about the enmities of the property, or map, or even a card for our room keys, w the WiFi information on it. It seemed every question we asked the staff, they did not know, & to ask someone else. A late checkout cost was exorbitant The bartender had to look up how to make a Tanqueray and Tonic! Then needed help finalizing the bill for me. The next morning...
