"The Bothy was a lovely place for a break away. Quiet but close to Moffat and beautiful walks all around. Karen was a wonderful host along with her dogs Suzy and Radley. Communication was quick and helpful. We loved the wood burning fire in the evenings. Thank you Karen for letting us enjoy The Bothy. Will definately be back in the future."

"Very pleased with the accommodation and the locality. Very well equipped.However the mirror light in ensuite shower room upstairs is iut so that room is very dark as inly one ceiling spot light. Also on 1st entering house to go into livingroom the door handle fell off no screw fell onto floor it just came away in hand or i would have tried to fix it .We had avery enjoyable stay would certainly come back anithervtime for more walking beautiful area.Kind regardsClare"

"Great property, clean, excellent master bedroom, well equiped, brilliant location and in a peaceful spot, however the hot tub stopped working / went to standby mode and couldnt be used so felt like the one main reason we booked this property and couldnt use it. The stairs are very steep and were difficult to go up and down. Ideal for kielder and surrounding areas. "

"We arrived late so it was dark. When we woke up Saturday morning the views were sensational. The campsite has six glamping pods which are well spaced so you do not feel on top of each other. Right off the main Moffat to Selkirk road but far enough back you do not hear a thing. Definitely recommend and will visit again."
