"Absoulety loved the property. Even more beautiful once you walk in the door. Molly was awesome and got back to me on any questions I had quickly. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless! We loved the screened in porch. We spent the day floating by the dock and the neighbors came right over and talked to us. "Stayed for a few days to end a longer vacation. Was everything we needed and wanted. Owners were responsive when we had a question about the AC. Pool was great."

"We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the house had not been properly cleaned or maintained. There was garbage left in the trash can, a dead roach in plain sight, and visible gaps around the doors that allowed bugs and pests to easily enter.The bed collapsed as soon as I got into it, and my granddaughter discovered a live roach under her towel on the bed. "I love everything about not only the host but the house. She was AMAZING. The house was just as described. It was simply beautiful. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the amenities. It was in a lovely neighborhood and close to so many great food spots and shopping. This will definitely be my go to place to stay whenever I am in town!!! "

"This stay was definitely one to remember. When we arrived, we were greeted by a pile of trash right outside the property. Thankfully, the porch light wasn’t working, so we didn’t have to see it at night—problem solved!Inside, the bedding had a distinct musty smell, and we even found a few stains and some pet hair sprinkled across the furniture and in the air. "The house was great. Very clean and relaxing. The only thing that would have been better was access to a washer/dryer and a vacuum. I like to keep up after my dogs and I could do that. The yard was great for our dogs. The pool was clean and very nice. Our host was very accommodating and got back to us immediately with any questions we had. It was a quiet and peaceful. "We came from New Mexico with our family for our youngest daughter’s wedding in the Shanodoah mountains. The home was perfect everything we needed!! Beautiful setting and a beautiful home!!Stayed for 2 weeks and was sad to leave!! The owners were amazing and prompt with everything!!Thank you for allowing us to come and stay in your beautiful home and enjoy our time in Virginia!!"

"This renovated home gives a lot of space to travel with friends or family. Two bedrooms plus 1.5 bathrooms. It is located in a great area near the Five Points restaurants and a Publix right around the block. The apartment was generally clean; there are two separate sitting areas with plenty of room to spread out if needed. "

"The home was perfect for our large family vacation. It was clean and the bedrooms were comfortable. There are 8 nice size bedrooms. 5 of them were very spacious. The house looks exactly like the pictures. Beautiful scenery! Gene was attentive from booking through the stay. "

The bed was comfortable it was very well kept and clean there were snacks and drink options by the coffee bar as well as other extra things provided that were thoughtful. "Needed a couple of down days before heading home after a very long and busy road trip. This place gave us exactly what we needed to rest and relax. Loved the outside privacy and especially having our morning coffee on a small bench near the river. We had everything we could need and more. Thanks Petra for your attention to detail. "

"House was great!!!! For future guests I would…-have a pool strainer for debris available -have propane tanks full. (Had to go to store as all were empty)-have cleaning crew clean toilets and showers better.(Urine on back of toilets and hair in shower)-spray in advance for wasps.
