Awesome!

The motel was very clean and well made, and the staff was awesome ! The food at the bar is amazing and well priced. Tge only real downside was either the walls are thin, or our neighbors were loud. Still, 9.5 out of 10

Very nice room with large TV, mini refer, microwave. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Super Great place to stay. Loved the simple industrial decor. Easy check in and out. Close to Nemadji state forest. Perfect place to stay for ATV riding in Nemadji!! Thanks Bears Den for a great stay!

Nice Place to stay next to restaurant bar

Newer motel, next to restaurant, bar and store. Cement floors, kinda cold, firm beds, checkin for room is at the bar. Overall good experience.

Little Gem in Bruno

We were in town for a wedding and found this little gem. We had a fantastic stay- the motel is very clean and comfortable, and the staff was so kind. It felt like a ritzy Schitt’s Creek experience.

1st Stay

Was a good stay. Bought a fly swatter and left it there as there were a few flies.... it is fly season tho. Walls were thin... turned off tv and could hear neighbors talking. I wondered if our tv was loud for them then. Dish towels or wash cloths would be good for kitchenette... Coffee leaked and had to use a white bathroom wash cloth. Overall I enjoyed my stay there. I'd stay again for sure.

Very impressed with this motel. I would highly recommend this place. Very clean. Nicely decorated. I travel a lot and this is by far the nicest motel I have ever stayed in. Check in very convenient.

Weekend Away

This motel far exceeded our expectations. The owner was helpful and very accommodating. The room was crisp and clean. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that was lacking was the hot water did not get hot enough for us. Breakfast at the bar was great, making this get away perfect.

The accomodations were excellent! But the walls were thin, and the visitor in the next room yelled and cried at times, and could easily be heard, which excited our dog and he barked in response, causing the visito to yell back at him. So I slept in my car with the dog for the first part of the night.

I really like to use some design with the plumbing pipes. The only thing is the bed do not need to be that close to the wall they needed to build a table on the second side of the bed or an outlet is.

The motel is really new and in excellent shape. Our unit was clean and well designed for optimal enjoyment. Having a proper dining table was unexpected and appreciated. The staff were friendly and super helpful. This stay at Bears Den was an absolutely well priced deal compared to properties within an hour drive and we were pleasantly surprised that this motel reads more like a mid-priced hotel in terms of living space. The only recommendation would be that the motel add paper towels to their kitchen area, so we arent using white hotel towels for spills. We chose this location to stay at after seeing a show at Black Bear Casino, and it wasn't too far and saved us a few hundred dollars. I would definitely stay here again.

I ended up leaving about 3 hours after checking in. While it was decently clean, that was not enough of a selling point to make up for the incredibly thin walls, no carpeting or rugs in the room so wearing shoes the whole time was basically required, a refrigerator that wasn't turned on (that also leaked a puddle of water all over the floor from whomever last turned it off), a microwave that didn't not heat food at all when I attempted to use it (which also kept shorting itself on and off when I wasn't using it), shower water that smelled like rusty pond water, and cigarrette butts all over the ground in the parking area despite the binder in the room saying not to litter and be courteous enough to step away from the building while smoking. At the very least, I have minimum expectations of clean water, working appliances, and clean bedding... so atleast the bedding was clean.

Nice place, needs a couple tweaks to be great.

Nice little hotel. It's brand new, and quite a surprising little place in the middle of nowhere. Very basic, clean and modern. The beds are quite firm, and sit high, so they were a bit of a challenge for me since I was in a sling and only able to use one arm, but not completely uncomfortable. I would suggest adding a couple extra pillows to each bed, there were just two on each bed and kind of flat. The only other issue we had was the shower curtain didn't do a good job holding water in and the pan is low, so the bathroom floor got soaked no matter what we tried to avoid it getting wet. With the concrete floor it got a little slick which could be a safety issue.
