"We really enjoyed staying here. We had a family get together at the Ozarks State Park and needed to accommodate a family member with a wheelchair that could not camp. It worked great for him and us! Beautiful secluded location in the woods. If you’re lucky the neighbors dog (Coco) will come by and say hi. She is so sweet! Lots of critters out at night by the lake. It was a lot of fun lotto the frogs. We saw a snapping turtle during our stay too!"

"This place is quite cute and perfect location actually. Right off Business 54 close to everything. The only two complaints that I have is it definitely has a smell like someone has smoked in there before. They do try to freshen with some sort of fragrance but I am very sensitive to smells and others can be too. Also it definitely needed to be cleaned more. You can tell they allow pets which is fine but the lounge chair in the living room was full of pet hair. The window sills were full of hair...

"Our host Marty was great! He had suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The condo was exactly as described. Everything was clean and in good working order. Would definitely try to stay here again if we find ourselves in the area."

"Our stay and communication with the owner, Charles, was perfect. However, dealing with Evolve was a horrible experience. I will never use them again and I strongly suggest you book directly with Charles at The Eagles Nest. (573-552-8044) we have stayed here many times before with the old ownership and now new owner, Charles is in charge and he is stepping up! Super clean, best view on the lake, pool, great pizza, perfect location. If you want fluff, glitz and glamour this is not your place, but...
