"Nestled in the sweet spot of the Laurel Highlands, Shawn’s cabin did not disappoint. Ample, easy parking. A large front deck with table and chairs, partly covered. There’s a fire pit and a barbecue grill. The newly renovated cabin’s interior was beautiful. Cathedral ceilings, open floor plan with kitchen, dining and living together. Comfortable furniture, excellent TV. The kitchen was very well equipped. A full sized fridge and stove, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom with shower was...

"Our family loved our stay in this perfect, cozy mountaintop retreat. The location can't be beat as it is literally the closest home to Laurel Mountain Ski Resort. The place had everything you need for a great time away, including wonderful little touches such as the wood stove being prepped for a fire upon our arrival. The owners' communication was exceptional from checkin throughout our stay. We are already in the process of booking another stay at this lovely cabin."

"Finch House is a wonderful property. The location right beside a stream is peaceful. All of the light switches are labeled!! That is a level of detail much appreciated. The entire aesthetic of the home was perfect. I coild have sat for hours outside on the patio or the sheltered shed porch. Thank you John and Kathleen for such a pleasant stay. "Spent the weekend visiting family. Enjoyed staying in downtown Windber and walking to our favorite bars and restaurants. Property was in a perfect location on Somerset Ave. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We look forward to booking again in the future."
